Re: Leichhardt Oval the GRAVEYARD

We have played very poorly at Leichhardt this year. You could see after about 10 minutes we were going to lose this match. Absolutely no energy, no composure, and almost trying to hard. It looked exactly the same during the GCT games. No doubt there was an incredible atmosphere last night and really...

Re: Ivan Cleary - THREAD..

Pretty unconvincing really.

Seemed very upset reading the statement and looked far more comfortable answering ad hoc questions about the game. Absolutely no indication that he wants to be here - seems more about maintaining his integrity etc. Don't have a lot of faith but time will tell I suppose.

Re: Ivan Cleary

I was a little concerned but all good after Pascoe words to fairgax. He was unquivocal. Nothing more he can unless Cleary requwsts a release. If he does, Pascoe has indicate this woll bw refused. If Cleary tries to coach penrith we seek an injunction. Wont get that far.

Walker brothers. Might as well try something different - nothing else has worked

Re: Ivan Cleary

Surely the board know how important this is to the clubs fans, and surely they stick to their guns on it. Just cannot afford to let IC go. Even if he doesnt want to coach us. Even if that will affect how we perform, they simply cannot let him go for any price. The fans need to see the board fight an...

Re: Nathan Cleary

I'm not convinced he is that much better than Brooks - particularly the way Brooks has been playing this year.

Re: New chapter in book of feuds

Wow, total BS. Our home game, we decide what will be on the field. Making our player play at home on a ground honouring an opposition player? Garbage.

Re: The Al Packer made 31 metres

Not sure that lack of go forwards was our problem yesterday and tend to think the stats are a little bit misleading.

We had absolutely no ball for the first 60 minutes of the game. When we finally got the ball we were moving it laterally instead of trying to go through the middle.

Re: The run home 2018

Don't agree on Penrith are above Dragons across the context of the season - though they were outstanding on Friday. They have had a very fortunate draw (and somehow manage to have a very fortunate second half of the season draw as well).

Re: The run home 2018

Just don't understand how anyone could claim it isn't a difficult run home.

Souths and Dragons are the standout two best sides in the comp (with Penrith close behind). Then we have the Raiders twice who I would have in the top 8 sides in the comp personally. So that is 6 very tough games straight up.

Re: Grit vs Class

Spot on. The usual suspects will come on and try and pin it on scapegoats. Reality is we came up against a side that was too good for us, almost right across the park. The fact they have Tamou and Kikau coming off the bench says it all imo. We were a rabble but the Panthers turned us into a rabble w...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I would be devastated if we signed French or Holmes. Both are great wingers but neither have the necessary ball skills or vision to be elite fullbacks in the modern game. The problem is that to pry either away from their respective clubs you'd be paying elite fullback money. Big no. Brian Kelly on t...

Re: Marty Taupau Wants TIgers Return

When he is on he is one of the best forwards in the game. Would immediately transform our pack. We would be kidding if we didn't make a run at him.

Absolutely. And there were multiple cynical penalties by the Warriors when we were wrestling momentum back. Really frustrating. Not getting the rub of the green the last few weeks.

Re: What was the second sin bin for?

Absolutely crazy penalty.

How did Blake Green not get binned in the first half when he wasn't square at marker? Far more cynical penalty than ET racing off the line.
