Re: NRL agrees to review third-party agreements in a bid to end salary cap rorting

The other option is player ratings/values. Transparent, based on facts and no restraint of trade etc. Agree, a nominal value of each player can be calculated, and the total value of 30 players. If this value is above the agreed limit - a club is in breach and has to sell players or is automatically...

an inconvenient truth for #RegressiveLeft - quote from Thomas Sowell :master: "For more than 80 years, the political left has opposed what they call "tax cuts for the rich." But big cuts in very high tax rates ended up bringing in more revenue to the government in the Coolidge, Kennedy, Reagan and B...

Re: The Ashes

probably Neville is a better gloveman, but I am happy with Paine. Did Marsh finally arrived? Very good knock. The pitch looks benign, but hopefully we will get Poms out for less than 250. :)

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

When we declined to pay Tedesco millions, (nearly :D ) everyone on this forum supported idea of 'not putting all our eggs in 1 or 2 baskets', which means we will not buy expensive (marquee??) players, we prefer 'champion team' to a 'team of champions'. And (arguably) Tedesco is better player than RT...

Re: Out of the Headlines

Hopefully next year will be the year we have all been hoping for. Personally, my goal will be just to say "We had a decent year" :D I've got high expectations for next year. Top 8 or we need to make some big changes. Pressures on Brooks, Lolohea, Liddle, Nofoaluma and our forward pack. Our forward ...

Re: The Ashes

Great calming knock from the skip...once again. This side is stuffed without him. Yes I was a great knock from Smith , he's a class act ! Fantastic New South Welshman ! The other one.....not so good. very loose shot. But that's Warner I'm kinda glad Marsh is with him rather than Maxwell This simply...

Great effort from Alex Twal

97% tackle efficiency
530 metres gained (2nd in team)
And he's 21.

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

Interesting point is: will the 'elected representatives' vote as their electorates or with 'their conscience' and ignore their electorate, - may explain why most people are disgusted with politicians :brick: e.g Jason Clare, ALP, electorate Blaxland - NO vote 73.9% Tony Burke, ALP, electorate Watson...
