Re: Ayshford

He should go IMO. No speed or footwork, doesn't pass and the only ability he has is to stand up in a tackle He outstreaked Carney to the tryline in 2010 in the semi final. He fended away from Hayne and streaked 50m metres to score out pacing the Eels backline to do it. No Footwork? No passing? The ...

Just graduating now. If he turns out to be an NRL player, he's years away. Literally just a kid at th...

Re: New WT Coach To Be Announced Shortly

He really shouldn't be coaching his mates either, has trouble written all over it. Will be interesting to see where he's at as a coach in two or three years time. People often make out that lengthy apprenticeships have to be served before going on to being a first grade coach, but Payten had a rema...

Re: Kevie's on the Game Plan

What he said was 1) He's had a number of years being an assistant coach 2) As a result, he feels ready too be an nrl coach 3) if something was available in 2013 he'd be interested 4) he hasn't had any discussions with the tigers 5) he wants to get through this week and then he will see what happens ...

Wests Tigers Head Coach Job Criteria

What do we need to advertise for? Add anything more.... * Ability not to pick Robbie Farah at halfback. * Knowledge of how to use an interchange bench. * Identification of players who are consistently out of form, and not pick them in the following match. * Understanding of how many wingers (2) shou...

Re: Brent Kite possibly leaving Manly

We need another prop and Kite is a great prop. Some people seem to think players are only good when they play for the Tigers. Adding Kite to our two starting props does a number of things. Firstly, when one of the "Big 2" go off, it means we do not lose anything. It also means if one of the "big two...

The names id like to see are either Anderson, Elliot or Folkes. But I haven't heard there names thrown up.

The names Ive only heard are Nathan Brown, Daniel Wagon and Matt Parish. From that list, Brown for mine.

Re: Shock departure of two favourite sons cuts me deep

Article is a joke. Where was this article when Junior Moors signed with Melbourne? He was also one of the Tigers best this year... in fact he was better than Heighno. This great culture that this club has, has got us to 3 finals in the last 10 years under this coach. And I know its hard, but maybe M...

Getting rid of Ryan was the correct decision.

If you wanted any justification to whether getting rid of Ryan was the correct decision, then watch the u20 games from today. Nofolomu and Koroibete are the future. Re-signing any winger for 3 years would be stupid. Hence why Ryan said "I couldn't be sure at the end of next season that they wouldn't...

Re: NYC Live Game Thread vs Roosters 2nd Final

This first half has been a short snippet of why it was the right decision to let Beau Ryan go. As solid as he was this year, Nofolomu would only be getting held back and as for Koroibete, well theres no way Ryan scores that try just then.

The fact they couldn't back sheens makes me think he's gone. the fact they are still reviewing him to me means they are exploring there options to get rid of him

No chance. I can understand Ryan and Heighno...... But could never understand Lawrence.

We already have 1 weak centre, getting rid of Lawrence would open up two spots.

Letting Ryan go isn't the end of the world.

Letting Beau Ryan go isn't the end of the world. He had a decent year and id like him here, but the fact is we have a host of wingers with Koroibete, Nofolomu, Grant and maybe Utai (who is good value for his price). Plus if absolutely desperate our premier league wingers can do a job. Lets put this ...

Re: Inside the mind of Sheens - squad for 2013

We have good depth in some positions but terrible depth in others. Take the wing for example. This year we had Utai, Tuquiri, Ryan, Koroibete, Reddy, Grant plus others if required.

Unfortunately in other positions we had none, like centre (Lawrence, Ayshford and....?)

Re: Chris Heighington off to Cronulla Sharks in player clean

I'm all for a clean out, it's just a matter of who we move on. Beau would be one of the last on my list... I'd say seeyalater to Heighno Moltzen Ayshford Groat Reddy I guess the issue with a few of these guys is they are under contract and who would want them (I.E - Reddy). While I don't think much...

Re: Humble gone/ Salary cap issues?

I like Humble but i don't see why anyones blowing up. I didn't see him named in one "2013 possible teams". He is our 4th string fullback (tedesco, molten, ryan), 4th string half (benji, anasta, sironen) and at best 2nd string hooker. I think he could be a good nrl player, but he has no real value at...

I keep saying money isn't everything to all people ,IMO Farah will move on at the end of next season and why wouldn't he ... Posted using RoarFEED 2012 We don't know that. For all we know Farah might have an input into some of these decisions. Maybe he wants the "clique" broken up. Maybe he's seen ...
