Re: LIVE 9's Thread*

Can't understand the anger from many people about the effort or results, seriously would people still be talking the same if one of our star players got a season ending injury if they put in the supposed effort that many here were looking for? The 9's should be scrapped, don't see the need for it b...

Re: Your Team V Sharkies

I think the side picks itself bar that left wing position and after the Parra game I thought Utai had it sewn up, didnt see the Roosters game though. I know people say he is too short under the high ball (tick), gets caught out in defence occassionally (tick) and is not a speedstar (tick) but those ...

Re: Farah

Groins are not an injury you would want to be playing in stints with, they cool down, they get reinjured more often than not. I agree last year Robbie was not as effective due to injury (back/groin) but I think the bigger reason was the way the game was reffed with markers being able to stand where ...

He'll get 1 week, lifted him but didnt drive him, semi finals he'll miss the Warriors game only unless he has a shedload of carry overs.

Re: Saints will target Benji

Hope they do but being a Bennett coached team they wont, posssession is key they know they couldnt afford to give away penalties and give us the ball. If we get 50% possession we just about win this game.

Re: knock out game?

The Dragons are going OK, thats all, to say they are back in form after a close win to the Warriors and a win over a Penrith side with a thousand injuries including Petero is not that impressive. Top 2 shouldnt lose, Newcastle are just happy to be there and Melbournes loss this week was perfect for ...

Re: Benji Best Rugby League Player In The World!

Benji is the most marketable player in the league without a doubt ,but best player in the world, maybe on his day but he can do some silly things as well, having said that Id never swap him for any other player. Farah IS the best 9 in the game but to me Ellis is just about, if not, the best player i...

Re: Beau going off his head in the sheds

He actually has a helluva lot of poor games,& I honestly cant remember his last good one...can you? The only time he runs with any "intensity" is sideways.. Weve gotta have better somewhere agreed, against the dragons next wk we need to score off every oppertunity we get...... he has a way for butc...

Re: Penalty against Dwyer

Ive got no problem with the penalty on this seasons rules but it needs to be fixed up for next year otherwise teams will have guys running ducking their heads looking for a penalty like they do with Aussie Rules. I reckon if you duck your head into a tackle your fair game.

Re: Robert Lui

As others have said defending with Rowdy who's confidence wouldnt have been high (and understandably so coming off that injury earlier than he should have) that edge was targetted by Canberra and not a bad effort considering I thought. We dont need a star halfback, Benji and Robbie run the game we j...

Re: One of the best wins in 11 seasons

Like the week before they should have won by miles, the raiders were average, yet we gifted them into the match. Really we should have won by 20. We carry some very average footballers among a few champions. We have the attack to beat any team in the comp, but our defense tonight was as poor as rou...

Re: Beau going off his head in the sheds

Folks, this is first grade,& at the pointy end of the season. U cant carry blokes because theyre "motivational" or "enthusiastic "or plain good guys...u select them from a pool of competitors because of their skill set. And week in week out Beau's just isnt 1st grade standard unfortunately Rubbish, ...

Re: Tigers stuffed up by playing at SFS!

Wests Tigers fans outnumbered the roosters fans at the SFS and it really felt like a Wests Tigers home game. The crowd was behind the side and I don't believe playing this game at Campbelltown or LO would have made a difference. Rubbish, the atmosphere was incredible and it was definately a Tigers ...

Re: Galloway vs. Fifita

It wasn't a stupid mistake when fifita got stepped, it was just good play by parra. I only remember one penalty from yesterday and that was when he dived on a loose ball. How is that dumb? Yea it was a stupid mistake, he fell for a dummy and left a gap the size of Sydney Heads against Parra, he tak...

Re: Thoughts about the game?

As for Marshall's kicking, I dont know if it was clear on tv but at the ground there was a real annoying blusterly cross breeze, not a good day to be kicking. Playing a side with the Australian 1 and 9 after a big effort the week before, we go down to a one man bench and still win pulling away in th...
