Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Not sure I understand letting a low cost young utility like Marshall King go and signing a never has been 29 year old Goodinet. Real head scratcher but at minimum wage no real issue. I assume this means we are holding one spot with 700-800k in cap room for next year. Agree with this. Would have pre...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I doubt he'll see any first grade Hmmm. Depending on what our first grade bench looks like next year. If we run with two hookers then Pita would be next in line if injury strikes Liddle or Mcilwrick. If we run with a utility on bench and Benji spends time in nrl, then Pita may be playing in halves ...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Once again people are wasting a sh.t load of time thinking Tui is about to be overlooked for RTS. RTS is not coming to the WT, firstly I doubt the Warriors would give him a release and secondly if he did get a release , he would be heading to a club with a proven track record. The so called reason ...

Re: Alex Warmsley

He is contracted to St. Helens for 2018 and most super league contracts seem to have pretty hefty transfer fees included on top of salary. If he extremely, extremely surprised if we or any NRL club signed him for 2018. 2019 maybe.

Re: WT Player Retention/Recruitment/Loss List

Lolohea, Thompson, Marshall, Kev and Nofo - all play Full back. How many Full backs do we need? Just one specialist. EXActly. For crucial spine positions you want specialist backups. The players mentioned above might be okay to fill a game or two but if Lolohea was to go down in round one, I wouldn...

Was it also fox sports that published an article recently suggesting a pretty strong correlation with the difficulty of the draw and team success?

I would love to take taukaeihu off the roosters hands. He has a bit of taumalolo about him
And can kick! Would be the perfect signing for what we need right now.

Re: Wests Tigers confirm 2018 home game allocation

Seems an odd decision to play in Auckland. Could see appeal in playing a game in South Island but Not Auckland. Can only assume we have been compensated enough to warrant giving up a home game and adding more travel time. Read interesting article the other day about somewhat of an alignment to succe...

Re: World Cup Squad

Dugan over Tedesco is just pure wrong! It is hard to keep supporting a team when they make such dumb decisions. Not really, Dugans played his fair share of centre at rep level. Tedesco hasn't. Dugan is ahead of Teddy as a centre. Not saying I would have picked Dugan, but if it's a case of Dugan or ...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

I wonder if there are many or any gay people, particularly those in a long term r/ship quietly hoping this doesnt get legalised Even if they dislike this hullabaloo I'm sure they would want to have the same rights as a straight de facto couple. They essentially do. De facto relationships are availa...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

Just googled to confirm. The other difference is the plebiscite is essentially a non-binding "vote" on an issue, run by the AEC. Not the ABS and Auspost. Now descended from a survey to the point of an absolute shambles and even more so than that of the last census. It is now worse than the last tim...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

Is this thread still going? Yeah it something about baking cakes now. Here I was just thinking we were being asked if other people have a chance to be as happy as others. Marriage equates to happiness? Ask the 43% of Australians who divorced last year. Piece of paper is just a piece of paper - a su...
