Stress fractures in the shoulder apparently...don't like the sound of no feeling in the arm...

Hope everything goes well...gets back for 2018...
I flashed on Simon Dwyer as well. Reynolds said he was losing strength and sensation, but no one could pinpoint it.

Re: Marsters goal kicking

Im Happy with this element of Esans Game. The difficulty of the kicks pays tribute to the team scoring on a higher grade of position on the field. I would like to see better offloads and for him to run more . I would like to see him in a Fonua / Hurrell like style that can terrorise the opposition....

Re: Slow Moving Turtles in 2019-2020?

We need guys that run hard. The only 2 that do that are Lawrence and Aloiai!!!! We need enforcers - go after Matagi, Tapau. We have no one that the opposition fears or would hate to tackle. Should have gone hard for Junior Paulo. Man we suck! Junior Paulo's not a bloke you want at your club, the me...

Re: Slow Moving Turtles in 2019-2020?

Yet we still rank about 7th for meters gained. Something screams gameplay about Packer and Matulino’s meters. Like I’ve said before, opposition score the majority of points or the rot sets in when these guys are off the field. It’s like clockwork. In saying that I would like a lot more meters from ...

Re: Your team vs Dragons

If Benji isn't ready to come back yet, wouldn't Lolohea be the next option at 6, he was playing great in that position last season ? I think everyone's finished frothing over Tyson Gamble, so if Reynolds and Marshall are out your next options are Lolohea and Elijiah Taylor. I think we'd move Mbye t...

We won't lose the bye, but somehow we'll come out of it with more injuries.

Re: The Liechardt Myth

Are we really pretending that it wasn't Farah, or to a lesser extent Mbye that made it a sell out? It definitely wasn't our red hot form or any other made up reason. It was a Leichardt game on a Sunday, and that's an endangered species. The game itself's almost secondary. People were coming out jus...

Re: Who would you want to keep/let go for next year?

All of yesterday's 17 are top 30 squad standard but they're not neccesaraly the blokes we want in our NRL runout side all at the same time. There are better players than Aloiai, Eisenhuth, Naiquama, Wantane Selezniak and Rochow, but all those blokes are relatively cheap so you'd hold them in the squ...

Re: Coincidence ??

There's a few things in play. One is the way the Tigers were able to outmuscle much more talented sides by just playing harder and backing everything up in numbers. That's not sustainable. No amount of motivation, effort or culture can continuously push the body past it's capacity. Even with very go...

Re: Farah's Last Hurrah

No one will have anything to say about Benji being responsible for the Farah signing. Is that not sticking his nose into the running of the club? Benji is back half a season and is now having a say on who we should sign! For the record i have no problem with it. Senior players at all clubs do these...

15,000's about right for a Sunday at Leichardt. Wasn't a sellout. Interesting seeing the Tigers side from 10 years ago. Ben Te'o, Ryan Tandy and Dane Laurie at the same time.

Re: Opposition tries just before half time

That's the point where the starting middle forwards have usually been taken off, so you've got your bench players defending. That's when a team's depth is properly tested.

Re: Home Crowd Sizes

Lol at the CSS crowd. Really not encouraging the club to move more games out there ay. So much is said about local grounds being important to the game but, they really don't show it. 11,000 on a Friday night against Brisbane's pretty good. Most Sydney clubs would struggle to get over 10,000 on a we...

Seems like a lot of the teams have adapted to Benji's spiral bombs
Bit of that, and also defences are working out how to limit our halves time and space. Penrith's speed off the line to shut out Brooks and Marshall was excellent, they'd clearly done their homework.

Re: NRL Scheduling

The last couple of years I thought the schedule was alright, this year's been ridiculous. A home game in Auckland, a home game in Tamworth, having to wait til rd10 to get a Leichhardt game, then plauing that Thursday night with the short turnaround coming from New Zealand, with another Thursday nigh...

Re: Benji needs back up

Brooks is running the show, so Benji shouldn't feel he's under pressure to carry the team at first reciever for 80 minutes. We've got other playmaker options in Elijiah Taylor and Jacob Liddle to take some slack as well. We don't need a half on the bench. We've already got a bench hooker and a utili...
