Re: Marshall and Farah

I am amazed. About everyone in the team made a blunder except Farah. When he was taken off they failed to get a kick away on the fifth, the try they achieved had little to do with the DH I think, but their first try the DH was involved (RF). I am happy whatever he decides to do but he was far from ...

Michael Maguire at the game today... interested spectator.
Interesting indeed
Might have been there in case Mary's mob bottled it. I reckon if they bomb out of the finals he'll be on thin ice.

Re: **Live Game Thread**

The amount of ball we squandered inside their 20 in the first half was criminal. Poor ball security killed us with the first six penalties keeping us firmly entrenched up their end. Soon as the square up came around we lost control.

Looks like Peter Dutton is going to challenge Turnball for the leadership. This needs to happen in a major way otherwise the LNP will get destroyed at the election with Turnball as leader. He cant win.
Ugh, that bloke is a spud.

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

The more logical conclusion is to have solar feed the rest of you home and leave the air con on the grid. Same result, removing base load off the grid. It is not feasible to have air conditioning fed off solar without it becoming fiercely more expensive. Also a thing to remember is that old more po...

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

In the short term something like every aircon unit has to be fuelled by solar power - if there is another heat for aircon necessity there should also be sufficient light for electricity generation. Aircons have greatly driven up electricity prices as they greatly increase the load required in peak ...

Re: Ivan Cleary - THREAD..

I don’t think Ivan will return back to Penrith. I think Ivan would lose all of the credibility that he has built up over the years. Especially by going grovelling back to Penrith would undermine him as an intelligent NRL coach. If he decides to go back to Penrith ( or anywhere else for that matter)...

Gibbs used to do it as well. Rather give up a penalty to set the retreating line than watch them swan through for a try.

Re: Blind Touchies

Hodgson striking at Farah when we were on their line was the only blatant dodgy call I remember going against them. Thought we were also blessed with no offside call when Taylor dived on the ball after it came off Nofo, who looked clearly behind him. We were ripe for the picking had they gotten mor...

No expectations from me.
But if they continue to finish the season with the same effort and attitude displayed yesterday it'll make the off season easier
X2 ink.

All they have to do is just keep winning. The rest will sort itself out.
