Id say its nervous times for guys like Hooth, Garner, Chee Kam, Aloiai and ET. Guys who were in favour with Cleary. Could change under a new coach.
Garner has already shown enough to show that he can get to that next level. The others have peaked I think.

Re: First look at Concord Oval revamp

In terms of access etc, Cambo works. In truth it isnt an aspirational area of sydney to move to for most players. I Imagine a Stadiam like the new one at Parra would change that and enhance the clubs atraction Neither is Penrith yet they have no problems luring players. Their centre of excellence i...

Re: Madges old mate, the coach whisperer

Check this one out, if it cost him $50 to make he was ripped off. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcnW-fwdTxE Green-screen stadium background, open shirt with bone-coloured suit, microphone pinned to his lapel, generic rock backing tape; 967 views and I must have provided 5 of those. Jesus that's a...

Re: R.I.P. Stan Lee

I did like his appearance on the Simpsons. Stan Lee: He can't be the Hulk! I'm the Hulk! Mrrrroaarrr! Come on, damnit, change! Mmmmm! Comic Book Guy: Oh, please! You couldn't even change into Bill Bixby! Stan Lee: Mmmmm! Aw, forget it. Mm-mmmm! I really did it once! Comic Book Guy: Yes, yes. I just ...

Re: R.I.P. Stan Lee

Not a fan of comics, or the corresponding movie franchises, but there is no denying that Lee basically gave birth to an entire universe and his imagination inspired a lot of happiness, in much the same way Lucas' Star Wars did. Even if you are not a fan, you can still appreciate the mark he left on ...

I don't think too much converting is required for Wighton, he's not a fullback.

Re: Maguire likely to shelve Tigers' five-man captaincy system

Didn't most of our other co captains miss as many? Grub obviously, ET missed a few, Packer missed a few with his knee.

Bugger it, we'll give it to Eisenhuth because he never gets injured...

Re: WTs 2019 Front Rowers

To be honest here, the more and more I look at it, im finding hard to fit Chris Lawrence into my starting squad: 8. Packer 9. Farah 10. Matulino 11. Matterson 12. Garner 13. Twal 14. Eisenthuth 15. MCK 16. Aloiai 17. Mikaela If true and we have signed Musgrove he's be in my starting squad, probably...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

On Gamble, he looked good in ISP this year with a competent halves partner. When Drinkwater left for the Super League it was like Gamble lost a leg. Didn't help that when he debuted the whole team phoned it in so he had plenty of friends that day. I suppose it all hinges on what Madge wants at the e...

Re: Zane Musgrove

Next year will be the year for Jesse. He really needs to carry his form from this year, if he drops off again it'll be chalked up to playing for a contract.

Another retention and recruitment move clouded by Cleary's early exit. Thanks again ya jerk.

Re: Will we make the 8 in 2019?

I think Maguire will be given the clearance to do whatever is necessary to make the eight. I have a feeling a couple of players will be moved on for others.

He should be able to attract decent talent and has cap space. Anything less than the 8 is a failure next year.

Re: Ivan Cleary opens up on Penrith return and controversial Tigers exit

"unfinished business" LOL so wishy washy like "it is what it is" but in our fickle society we can't say "they paid me a lot more" He can't say that because how does he instill goodwill with the Panthers fan base? They'll be asking "how long will it be before he dicks us?" They really should be aski...

Re: Luke Brooks

I am kind of using the re-signing of Luke as a bit of a gauge to the health of the club. 12 months earlier we basically lost Teddy and Woodsy who, let’s face it, couldn’t wait to get out of the club. If Brooksy stays then I think we may have turned the corner. Brooks turned down opportunities elsew...

Helps having a coach who has won a premiership in recent memory as well. Players want to play under successful coaches. He gets us finals bou...
