Re: New NRL and team websites

They'll fix the bugs. They've only just launched it, chose a good time to do it in the off season close to Christmas when most couldn't care less.

Re: The Ashes

Yeah a wicketkeeper who can bat is always handy. Gilchrist really changed the role of a keeper.

I would still take a great gloveman who is an average bat rather than a great bat who is an average gloveman, keepers win you games from behind the stumps, not so much in front of them.

Re: New NRL and team websites

Much prefer it than the old format. Glossier and just as easy to navigate.

Re: The Ashes

If we had six blokes we could routinely rely on to put on 350 runs per innngs we wouldn't need an allrounder.

Our bowlers have no dramas taking 20 wickets when they've got a total to defend.

Visions of Politis doing the Jedi mind trick on Greenberg.

"There is nothing wrong with the TPA system"

"It can stay the way it is"

"The clubs can go about their business, move along..."

Someone helped him. He isn't smart enough on his own.
His musings are as thought provoking as a pile of brickies mud.
In all the WC games Moses took the knocks and came back full on - hit me with your best shot was his theme song.
You've got to get off the hydro.

Re: The Ashes

If you want an allrounder Jack Wildermuth could be worth a shot. In 5 Shield matches, he has played 8 innings and scored 251 runs, 14 wickets at an average of 25.07 We dont want all rounders, they are con artists. Unless your name is Jacques Kallis or Garfield Sobers. Today's "allrounder" is a con ...

Good,

At very best what he did was unethical, and at the worst it was treacherous.

Re: The Ashes

That's why I hope they don't serve up another highway like they did against the Kiwis in Perth, that was absolute garbage that pitch. The point I make on Maxi Paws is that he's maturing as a player in the longer form of the game. Even if it was only a Shield game, you don't score 200 odd if you don'...

Re: The Ashes

Maxwell was in form when he was dropped and is still in form presently. In form in what type of cricket? He is a product of the short form of the game. This is quite different to test of your batting technique and temperament experienced in test cricket. Can you envisage Maxell being able to demons...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Unless Manly are willing to give up either of the Turbos I wouldn't touch them, let them sink. That's what we said about the Bulldogs, and they swapped a reserve grader for another reserve grader and fixed everything. I hear you though, there's no one at Manly who I particularly want to see in Tige...

Re: Manly Salary cap issue

Manly will be right, they'll get docked 12 points this year, pay a fine, sign whomever they want after that and then make the top four next year. Just like Parra and the Dogs recovered within two years so will Manly... Most if not all teams are playing Russian Roulette with the TPA's and the CAP......

Re: The Ashes

I agree, Handscomb is suspect at the moment but when he's going he's a great bat. He should be given the whole series. Maxwell is a better chance of performing than Darsh Jnr. He's tempering as he gets older, much like Warner. Still prone to the brain explosion but the ton he scored in India last ye...

Re: Nathan Cleary

I don't think Ivan is the sort of bloke who would put himself over his boy. If he thinks the best move Nathan can make is to Wests I am sure he'll tell him, just as I think if he thinks that the best career move is for Nathan to take a deal at Easts/Cronulla/Melbourne/etc he'll probably tell him to ...
