Bennelong vote tomorrow - which way do you think people should be voting?
Not really a surprising result.

Yet another player publicaly stating that they left to play finals footy.
Yet another player parachuting into a club with continued success rather than establishing that success at Wests.

Good luck to him, he left pretty graciously so he's not a patch on the other three tossers.

Re: Star Wars - Thread...Contains Spoilers*

It was good without being spectacular. A few issues with the story line and a few scenes droned on a little. Was still plenty better than the prequel trilogy.

Of the movies done since Disney took over Lucasfilm, Rogue One is by and far the best offering.

Re: The Ashes

Did the aussies get on the piss.last nite? No, the ball is just reversing. Aussie batsmen always come back to the field when it's reversing. I'd say the variation the 12 metre long crack on the right armers bowling line offered probably had something to do with it too. It was spitting like a cobra ...

Re: The Ashes

Smith giving a masterclass Khawaja struggling but records a fighting 50 Aussie bowlers stole a good 100 runs from the poms this morning. Daylight between Smith and the rest of the batters in this ashes series. I just wonder how he would have gone against a real class attack, but I guess he seems to...

Re: CEO Update - Justin Pascoe..December..

I sure don't. Seems like double dipping to me! "Here's a brand spanking new stadium for you to use. Oh and here's an extra 10 million bucks to put towards a COE wherever you want to put it." "Meanwhile you other guys get nothing" Something doesn't seem remotely fair about that and no the COE should...

Re: NRL agrees to review third-party agreements in a bid to end salary cap rorting

I think a fair few of us are forgetting one major thing . Any attempts to change TPAs will result in legal action by players . As far as I know they can’t be banned in any way, as it would be a restraint of trade . If things got really hairy , the players could torpedo the Salarycap as well, as tha...

Re: Manly Salary cap issue

The only way to pinch players on dodgy* TPA's is to work with the ATO. Not sure how kosher that is or what legal hurdles you'll encounter trying to access that information. NRL might be able to find some sort of argument if they are protecting integrity of the game. Who knows... *Dodgy club organise...

How good is that documentary forged in fire? Listening to the ex-players from both sides talk about that 74/75 Aussie side was one of the greatest laughs ive had in a long time. Re: The Ashes

Yeah a wicketkeeper who can bat is always handy. Gilchrist really changed the role of a keeper.

I would still take a great gloveman who is an average bat rather than a great bat who is an average gloveman, keepers win you games from behind the stumps, not so much in front of them.
