Re: Why Sydneysiders should support the Roosters

The Cowboys have been magic to watch the last three weeks. Knocked out that sook peptide Paul, bundled out Parra and now the Cocks.

Pure satisfaction tonight.

All without JT and Scott.

It would be much more sound to look at a player like Bodene Thompson imo.
Certainly a team player, looks as though he plays especially well with hookers.

Re: Why Sydneysiders should support the Roosters

If i didnt have so much choice with QLD teams id definetly support them. Hell of a good team, great club. Our club could learn A LOT from them. I tipped Melbourne/Roosters GF months ago. They both earned the right and will progress this weekend. I agree that Melbourne and Easts are the two best tea...

Re: Des Hasler to leave the Bulldogs

Dogs fans want Pay or Dymock citing that they need someone who bleeds blue and white.

Kevin Moore bled blue and white, how'd that pan out again?

Innit nice to see Woodsy making his banal comments on behalf of another club now?
It's comedy now rather than tragedy.

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

I believe the employee has the right to espouse whatever view she likes. I also believe the business owner can hire or fire whoever she likes, whenever she likes, for whatever reason she likes. Its called freedom. Abe,the small point of unfair dismissal comes to mind.... Under current Australian La...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

As an aside about the contractor being shafted over her religious beliefs, how do people feel about businesses being run by Plymouth Brethren that exclusively hire people from within the faith? If I were qualified and looked over merely for my atheism are we OK with that or is that wrong? I cannot ...

Re: Des Hasler to leave the Bulldogs

Spot on. The Dogs will be a stronger club next year without Des being there, they had become stale under him. With the salary cap situation, i doubt it. Their roster looks average. If their cap clears up for 2019, they might be back if they enter the player market. I agree. They've swapped Reynolds...

Also did you read apparently the Des Hasler contract extension for 2018+ was non-binding? I look forward to the court battle.
How was it non binding?
Supposedly signed a heads of agreement and not a contract.
Ah OK, cheers.

Surely that haircut is the result of having a dare with someone?
He could have Keith Flint's haircut, as long as he plays good footy and keeps his nose clean I couldn't care less what he looks like.

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

As another aside (I don't mean to steer the topic away too much,) I have a bit of a Byronesque anecdote (less demonic tiki heads and former Rugby League players though,) in that one of our major customers was due to build on a patch of land close to where my last home was that I built. They'd alread...
