Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

Alright, I've had just about enough of the meaningless dribble in this thread. As the title says, it's politics - Discuss politics and discuss it rationally (a hard concept for some on here) or this thread closes.

Re: NextGen: Connelly Lemuelu

Very poor in his 1st year of 20's...then again everyone pretty much was last year.... Has talent but could go the way of many talented kids at age level..may kick on ...our conversion rate from 20's hasn't been that great in recent times.. I watched him a couple of times last year and he wasn't a s...

Re: The Contenders: Hooker

Yes we should chop n change the spine positions 3 times a game...mind boogling indeed We don't have an 80 min hooker so he needs to be replaced = mind blown. Excuse me for thinking replacing him with the best option made sense. Well ummm .....if you start Taylor at hooker and make 1 interchange wit...

No probs,

3. Marsters
4. Milne

9. Mcilwrick - ET

Bench. Eisenhuth
Agree with the centres however I'd prefer to have Taylor start at 9 over McIlwrick for his defence. I think he and Eiso on the field together helps keep our ruck defence tighter.

Re: The Contenders: Second Row

11. McQueen 12. ET 13. Hooth That seems the obvious choice for me. Who gets on the bench will be the contentious decision. For mine, Aloiai was just too good at the end of the season to leave out, but I could see him come in later as an impact player. Agree. I like him on the edge, so he starts on ...

Re: NRL - Wests Tigers predicted round 1 line-up

We've all got our own take on who should line up for round 1, but yeah there's a couple of silly choices here such as Naiqama and Suli. I'd have Milne and Suli as my first choice centres. As much as I like Marsters, I think he could offer some good utility off the bench if either a back goes down o...

Re: Cleary's - "back to the future" prediction ?!

As Geo suggested, a tough-as-nails approach perhaps. We're all aware that Cleary hasn't bought superstars but he has bought some talent and players who compete for the 80 minutes. I think his primary focus is to get the players to buy-in that it's all about the team effort rather than the individual...
