Re: Fullback Recruit

Well let's just wait and see what happens. No need for panic stations in the fullback dept just yet.

As long as Godinet isnt there I will be happy.
Yeah I know. If Liddle misses out I'd rather play Taylor at 9. Godinet is nothing more than a speed bump.

Re: Tyson Gamble

Has he been training at fullback during the offseason? I believe only Tui Thompson and Smith trained at fullback during preseason Exactly. Cleary is not going to play a bloke at fullback who hasn't extensively trained there. Can they give Gamble a run in Reggies at fullback see how he goes or will ...

Re: Live game thread: Contains spoilers

by the way Mr Know It All. i do this for fun because i cant stand most of the comments on here. do you guys really think Cleary reads all this crap. it seems that there are hundreds of coaches on here. If that's your attitude then you're probably not going to last too long here either. i am so worr...

Re: Jersey Flegg Team Announcement: Round 7

The boys were beaten 18-4, Dylan Smith the lone try scorer. Do you think Smith would be in the running for a wing position next year in the NRL to ease him into the top grade? He's a specialist fullback, if I was going to play him anywhere, it would be there. I'd rather revert Thompson back to the ...

Re: Live game thread: Contains spoilers

Zelezniak doesn"t make mistakes ? Thompson doesn't make mistakes ? you are kidding me right? everybody bags Tui or Nof or Benji or Brooks but no one seems to care that all the mistakes these other guys make and are always in the starting side. how is that fair?when these guys make mistakes why are ...

He’s the heart and souls of our pack. That’s his value.
Can’t be if he’s not out on the paddock tho....
Don’t wanna knock the bloke but I think his time here may have come to an end.
You are a total DROPKICK.
Knock it off. The next time you'll receive a warning.

Re: Eliajah

Because he can make 50 tackles and stay on for 80 mins, HIAs notwithstanding. If we want to retain comp-leading defence which means multiple men into every tackle, good line speed and scramble for 80 mins, you need long-minutes backrowers who van mop up all game. That's why we started Rd1 with Tayl...

Yeah I'd give that side a go but start Eiso and bring Twal off the bench, I feel he brings superior energy to Eiso.

Both of those hits will be up there for contender of the year. Rochow couldn't have timed that any better.

I didn't think he was too bad in attack, but in defence he's a speed bump and a liability.
