Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

The only way is to keep booting them out till the dimwits get it through their noggin cb.

There's only one thing they care about - getting re-elected. Once theyre smart enough to correlate it, then we might see progress.

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

I think it's going to happen right across the board, not just Wentworth. A lot of people are fed up and I'm glad there is a clear message that will come out. As much as i dislike shorten, hopefully Australians can send a result next election as to what they think about chopping and changing PM's. Th...

Re: Have your say on the redevelopment of Concord Oval

I just hope that Pascoe & Canada Bay are smart enough to secure the $30 mil before the State Govt changes hands again and the initiative gets pulled.

Re: Have your say on the redevelopment of Concord Oval

Every time I see an email come from Wests Tigers I think they are announcing the new coach lol. Who cares about concord. Can't work out if this is tongue in cheek. I continue to see more negative press around this issue than anything else right now. Even in our coaching articles. I think this is im...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

the longer it drags on, it only makes me doubt that Justin & Marina have any control at all. and the last thing we need is to make rash decisions that only lead us to a repeat of the coaching predicament post Sheens. Slightly conflicting there Lauren. I think Justin and Marina are taking their time...

We CLEARLY went better when Robbie got back.

And without Benji we wouldn't have had a six for most of the year.

To saying they are doing it for the numbers is just ludicrous,

Both these blokes bleed for us how about a little respect back to them
X2. Well said.

Re: Wests Tigers head to Western Sydney Stadium

Sounds more like their CEO is just trying to get a better deal. As are the WSW. Yep... Holding out. They'd cop some real severe backlash if they didn't play there at a all next year... Would be a PR nightmare for them Yeah I think they're taking the attitude that the stadium was basically built for...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

Wayne in 2020 for me too. We're not in a gf winning position next year, so I would wait for someone who will bring the $s and the players and provide a better long term result for the Tigers. Get rid of Cleary and bring in hodgo. Would be an amazing story if benji, Robbie and hodgo can get us to a f...

Sounds like an oxygen thief. If this was a bank he would have been speared ages ago This is what I don't get. You don't actually don't know what he does, yet are prepared to label him an oxygen thief. It seems to me some people are happy to throw a dagger in preference to giving someone the benefit...

Re: For all the people moaning about signings

I agree with the OP. Holding 2 spots when there was no decent talent left on the market last year worked out very well for us. Not sure why so many people are up in arms. Sure, we could try to move on blokes like McQueen, but that's not an easy task. There is a significant advantage tactically in se...

Re: One Home Ground

I agree that the number of LO games and CSS games will be the same amount, thats why I dont like the idea of even one game at LO. Three home grounds in one city just doesnt make sense to me. It dilutes any advantage. They could have trial games there. I don't think they're considered home grounds a...

No to Campbelltown from me. Area is not supportive enough as a crowd. No to Leichhardt from me. Area are now under "the Chardonnay set" umbrella - good percentage of crowd are just curiosity seekers for a spiritual experience. WSS is the way to go - we'll know more after this next season. Still wou...

Re: WT Player Retention/Recruitment/Loss List

Unless we offload any players, I think carrying two spare spots into the season is smart tactically. We picked up Mbye for a reduced rate due to another clubs mistakes, as well as having enough room to bring Robbie home. Unless a player is the ideal signing, or we can swap out say a McQueen, then we...

If the Tigers don't have to tip in any money for the actual build and they have that further State Govt grant (as well as the WT Foundation $$), we may have one heck of a fit-out.

Pascoe helped deliver Penriths COE. I'm sure he'll be working hard to ensure our facilities are just as good.
What was did role in that?
I couldn't say the specifics, but he was in senior management at the Panthers when it was delivered. CCO and then 'head of NRL'... whatever that means.
