Re: WESTS Tigers Team V Melbourne..

I know he's only been head coach for 24 hours but given the teams disgraceful performance on Sunday, players needed to be dropped. I'm not blaming the loss solely on a few players like Brooks or Naiqama but both need a stint in reserve grade after horrendous back to back performances. A clear messag...

Re: We need a new halfback and we need to lock it in now

Brooks had a great debut and a decent firsts year in grade under Potter but is way too inconsistent and overpaid. He just hasn't lived up to the hype and the club needs to cut its losses. Maybe someone like Tyrone Roberts would be a better choice. He would be cheaper, has played well with a younger ...

Re: Live Game Thread - Tigers v Panthers

This performance is disgusting. After the hammering Penrith gave us last year, you'd think the team would at least try and aim up but they dish up the same pathetic edge defence and a plethora of unforced errors. The kicks out on the full are just embarrassing. Brooks should be dropped for this disg...

Re: Best Win, Worst Loss

Best win for me was against the Cowboys. Excellent performance against the defending premiers at Leichardt. Both raiders games were hard to swallow particularly the last game but the Newcastle game still irks me. They were by far the worst team in the comp yet still beat us. It came back to haunt th...

Re: Josh Aloiai peformance

I think a lot of people are forgetting that he is only 20 years old which is incredibly young for a forward. I thought he played fairly well this year considering his age and the fact he had a very limited pre season due to a fractured hip. I thought he had some good games towards the back end of th...

Hopefully Grant performs well and recaptures the form that saw him make the NSW side and i'm looking forward to seeing the Ipswich boys get a shot if someone in the lineup isn't performing.

Re: Jesse Parahi turned down Olympics

Maybe JT is looking at him as a traditional lock that plays the edges on both sides and ball plays rather than a third prop that plays in tight that has been the trend the last few years. At least that's what I hope he's thinking about because I can't see why you'd play someone with that speed and s...

Re: Returning Rankin focussed on NRL goal..

He seems to have a good attitude and I saw a few highlights of him playing in England which look promising. He looks be a great runner and I think the experience over there would have done him a world of good. I think he said he's put his hand up for a few 'other' positions in the team so maybe JT i...

Re: Paul carter

Carter is a great defender and he has a high work rate too. He's not too bad in attack and if he was used as a wide running second rower he'd be good value. He has played a bit of hooker and i think had a stint at 5/8 one game when the Titans had a few injuries but mostly plays in the back row. I th...

I hope he makes a full recovery and completely agree with Tigermama, he should enroll himself in some kind of course or do a trade, become qualified and prepared for a life after footy.

Re: Pre-season casualty ward...

They mentioned that Moltzen had an infection which caused his knee to flare up when he made his comeback. I was actually worried before hearing this because I was concerned the same thing would happen to Teddy. Both Teddy and Moltzen seem like they're recovering well though which is good to see. Hop...

Re: 2015 Side

I think with the success that players like Leeson Ah Mau and Ben Matulino are having playing a wide running role it shows that some of the faster props can make the transition. I think Taupau is similar to these two in the sense that he is fast and mobile for a big guy and explosive. He could create...

Re: Moses should play 5/8

I'd say Austin is a better option to start at 5/8 against Manly. He is bigger and a better defender at this point. You don't want Moses to be put under too much pressure defending in the front line. He is only 19 and he probably isn't big enough at this stage. i guess the good thing is both Austin a...
