Viliame Kikau re-signs with Pamfers till 2022...damn
We should have tried to sign him when he was ripping up the NYC with the Cowboys. Hopefully we're searching high and low for someone with similar attributes as it's exactly what we're lacking

Re: RHYSE MARTIN

But we already have Aloiai who can play for 50 mins and make 4-5 hit ups and 15-20 tackles.

Why would we need another back rower?

Re: Marsters goal kicking

For a guy who was a try scoring and hole running freak in the lower grades it's funny how this part of his game has almost disappeared entirely in the NRL. Obviously a step up in quality, but his ability to hit a gap and use his footwork close to the line was phenomenal and his main strength. He see...

Beni Teaupa

I see in the current state championships that a kid from Holy Cross was man of the match for NSWCCC against QLD - Beni Teaupa. He doesn't seem to have been in any of our WT academy or Balmain junior programs, does anyone know more about him? Sounds like he's a prop

Got to say after watching the match you wouldn't have known he was out there. For a big guy he sure is invisible.

Re: ISP Team Announcement: Round 18

This team is just a bunch of plodders. They won't be able to win games unless we're camped in their 20 and the opposition make a heap of errors all match. There is no penetration in this team. None. Zero. How do you score points if there's not a single player in the lineup that can break the line? B...

Re: El Packer

Lol, he was good today. Most props will be tired when the opposition have all the ball and are running the length of the field every set. He's also carrying a niggle of some sort, i'm sure it will come out at the end of the season... All our forwards except for MCK were invisible in the final 10 min...

Re: Luke Garner - Debut

I'd expect him to retain his spot on the bench for this week. With Lawrence out you'd say MCK starts and Garner becomes first back rower off the bench for Aloiai. MCK is better off the bench but it's a big ask for a guy who was only training part time until a couple of weeks ago to start in NRL.

Re: Has this year been a success?

No, it hasn't been a success unless we make the finals. That has to be the starting point for success for a club in our position. Then we aim for top 4 and winning. For now it starts with simply making the finals and having a shot at the title. It's been an improvement, we're more competitive and ha...

Don't want to see either of them in the press until the end of the season. It's almost like we only have 2 players at our club these days.

OFF CONTRACT 2018 Robbie Farah - should be resigned for another year, mentor Liddle however hopefully we sign Lichaa or Segyaro as well as I don't believe Liddle has the steel to become a first grader. Hope I'm wrong. Heath Gibbs - Gone. Homesick and returned to Newcastle. Hasn't been publicised th...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Remember this time last year we were all happy we had signed Packer, Mats and Reynolds and how much better we had recruited than the Knights. Then Pearce became available late in the season.

Signings don't have to be immediate, as long as they're in place for pre-season!

Re: Slow Moving Turtles in 2019-2020?

Yet we still rank about 7th for meters gained. Something screams gameplay about Packer and Matulino’s meters. Like I’ve said before, opposition score the majority of points or the rot sets in when these guys are off the field. It’s like clockwork. In saying that I would like a lot more meters from ...

There was a kid from the Balmain sg ball team think his name was Abraham Papali. I'd be surprised if he isn't called up. Was a standout at prop.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

While they're busy with Morris, let's sign their young centre Xerri who is very good. They’ll keep Xerri. It actually makes perfect business and performance sense. Xerri is still eligible for SGball. Far too young and inexperienced for first grade. An excellent veteran in J Morris to guide him allo...

Re: Luke's NRL dream garnering momentum..

Haven't seen much of Garner , would he better off starting or would he offer impact off the bench ?? Starting. He can play big minutes. Runs great lines hard and fast. Defensively.good. just needs to get bigger weight wise and he'll be a mainstay. From memory he plays left side , can he play right ...
