Re: NextGen: Connelly Lemuelu

It's hard to stand out in a team getting pumped by 50 points every week. He was probably our best back when he was on the field (although Liam Pakau might get the nod ahead due to better stats after playing more games), Mikaele our best forward and Peck perhaps the most consistent/inspirational. Not...

Re: Pre Season Casualty Report

For those that get into physio talk - here's some talking about moses on twitter... NRL PHYSIO‏ @nrlphysio Not good to hear Moses Suli still looking to overcome stress fractures in his foot in time to start the NRL season. Some bones in foot have poor blood supply so extended healing time. @nrlmagic...

Re: The Contenders: Lock

Eiso had ET covered at the end of last season. Makes as many tackles and makes more metres and offloads. I really don't know where you fit ET into this side. Twal is a no brainer too. Very similar to Eisenhuth. Any prop that can play 60 mins and make 40 tackles and 100m+ can play lock With Liddle o...

Re: The Contenders: Lock

I know the modern trend is to have props interchangeable with locks, but if Taylor is a consideration for lock, why not Rowdy? He's got the ball skills (gone well at 5/8 for us in the past) and the footwork. Because Taylor is extremely good at defending in the middle and is a better ball player tha...

Re: Pre Season Casualty Report

I'm not quite sure why we bought McQueen in the first place as we seem to have similar types in Lawrence and Taylor...who need to be complemented by one or more larger backrowers. Guess the deal was done before Clearys arrival...and before we knew of McQueens injury issues As for Suli,we have sever...

Re: The Contenders: Second Row

We have depth but only to the extent that the quality isn't amazing and there's 4-5 players there all of a similar level, ok but not great, nor awful... Eiso would surely be the lock based on last year's form, which puts ET in the back row with Lawrence, McQueen and Aloiai fighting for the other spo...

Re: End of 2017 - Forum Upgrade

Nice work Kul,

One thing i've noticed over the past 24 hours, when accessing the forum on a tablet or in a small browser window (at work) the recent topics menu drops of the site completely. Might be something you're working on but thought i'd pop it out there in any case...

Re: Trio ready to write next chapter together

Went out to Concord today and bought myself a members jersey as a birthday present for myself!! Haven’t bought a jersey in years - like many are saying, I’m really looking forward to this season. I finally think we are on the move. Is there a good stock of gear at Concord ? They have pretty much ev...

Re: Funding for Centre of Excellence

It has been approved. Not $55 million but at least we've been given some money. Or has it? http://www.venuesnsw.com/media-release/nrl-centres-of-excellence-announced This release from the govt doesn't sound like its over the line. I'd suggest our bid was more complicated and needed time to refine. ...

Re: Wests Tigers Centre of Excellence

Brilliant News! Great work by Pascoe. This is a big step forward. Clubs like ours are built from the ground up. This type of facility will be turning out fans, better players and deeper community engagement for years to come. Rugby League needs to be about the people. I truly believe that the Tiges...

Well done to our players selected in the Emerging Junior Blues Squad. I'm really please for young Sironen as I feel he has something to offer our NRL team. Re: Why new Shark Seumanufagai left the Tigers

I'd rather he had come out and said "football's a short career so i need to look after my family and this deal gave me greater financial security".

At least be honest about it if he's going to go into detail.

Re: CEO Update - Justin Pascoe..December..

Don't see how a home ground and COE have any connection. We have far more valid claims for funding than almost every other club in the league, especially compared to the likes of the Roosters and Souths who already have state of the art facilities! The funding of the stadiums and COEs was coming fr...
