Re: TIGERS Rozelle Development

Wests Ashfield should take over the running of the Balmain side of things, and rebrand themselves as Wests Tigers. One club with one owner moving forward. They are in Balmain territory anyway these days, it makes sense to me, even as a diehard Balmain tragic. this is Balmain we are talking about an...

Re: P. C HAS TAKEN OVER

How long before they start demanding to be paid the same as the men? I'm sure talks are already under way. Well, y'know, they only play 60 mins. Just like the skirts at Wimbeldon only play three sets, that didn't stop them whinging their way to equal pay with the blokes. careful you might be called...

There goes the theory we are waiting for clubs to get knocked out before any announcements
Not necessarily.

Would depend entirely on the wishes of the player.

Re: P. C HAS TAKEN OVER

Still feels weird watching women belt each other on the field, same goes for UFC, boxing, and other contact sports where women are trying to prove they can do what men do.

I still like my women feminine.

Whats the world coming to when you can't even enjoy a private strip show in peace.

Police Officers probably thought Brooks was a 13 year old and wanted to investigate him for possessing a fake ID.

Re: Ivan Cleary - THREAD..

I wouldn't read too much into Ivan's failure to give any public assurances about his future, outside of the Statement he already made previously. My take is that he is just being a dad ... if he confirms he is definitely staying at the Tigers then the media circus automatically turns back to Nathan,...

Re: Salary Cap Rorting | Ideas on a Potential Solution

Where there is a will, there is a way. As long as club's are willing to rort the system, they will find ways to do so. The best way to counter this is by making the punishment so severe that clubs, players, and player managers will be so scared of being caught that they won't engage in under the tab...

Re: Ivan Cleary - THREAD..

The concern is that players may be reluctant to commit for a reasonable length of time to a club, if they have no idea who the coach will be in 12-24 months time. So our recruitment efforts could take a hit fort he next season or two due to the uncertainty. There are ways around it obviously, one o...

Re: What should we do with mr Cleary?

The latest communication from Fletcher suggesting that Ivan signs for 2021 and they'll wait until then, has weakened our position greatly. Now, we are put into the position that many here are suggesting - that we have to let him go as his staying wouldn't probably be in the long term interest of ou...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

We have tried the young up and comer type coaches and have failed each time... Terry Lamb, Mick Potter, we even resurrected JT who was in the coaching wilderness for a long time. No more experiments and left field failures. We need an experienced coach with runs on the board. Flanagan - Cant see him...

Re: Ivan Cleary - THREAD..

And if Cleary does take an offer at Penrith 2021, for double his salary, could you really hate him for it? Could he not do a decent job in his last 2 years? He may or may not be like Mitchell Moses, but most players (and I assume offiicals) try to give their best within their contract, even if they...

Re: What should we do with mr Cleary?

Can't make a call from our position as supporters when we are not in possession of all the facts. I honestly can't fathom that any coach would sign a deal with a rival club 3 seasons in advance. I also can't fathom that a premiership contender like Penrith would effectively put the next two and abit...

If a gay man can run the panthers and not cop any negativity for his lifestyle choice then why should it be tolerated on the football field?
Phil Gould is gay?
