Re: Honest assessment on 2018

our backline will struggle all year. if we are thereabouts around round 7/8, i hope cleary makes a mid season play for a good centre- it could be the missing piece.

Re: Moses Suli

Well....theres another bloody waste of time...two steps forward, three steps back If he had a pathetic attitude that didn't warrant his pay packet, maybe they're better off cutting their losses. Disappointing, I had high hopes for him. At least Marsters slips in and doesn't get left out of the 17. ...

Re: Dib lifts lid on moses, tedesco and woods

hope Des comes back bigger and stronger. He hasn't had the Brisbane pedigree like Bennet or the slary cap cheating team like Bellamy- but has still had great success until last year. as for Dib, there are so many contradictions in the interview itself, i cant be bothered clearing them. as for us, i ...

Re: Who Improves in 2018

backline and halves. our backline is one of the weakest in the comps and our halves need to step up big time.

every single person in the backline from 1-7 would need to have the best year of their lives for us to be a chance tbh.

Re: The Contenders: Hooker

i want our points to come off the back of defence.

i've had ET starting at 9 since the start of off season and even though he's not mentioned here i'd say cleary is thinking the same way.

then ET can replace Eiso at lock.

Re: The Bench

the bench has to have impact. I am really keen on starting taylor for 20 mins at hooker- Matulino, Packer, McQueen, Taylor, Lawrence and Eisenhuth- all are really good players but don't give us impact off the bench. aloiai, sue, twal and liddle/mckillwrick- plenty of impact in attack and aloiai/sue ...

Re: NRL agrees to review third-party agreements in a bid to end salary cap rorting

they don't say that the current system is bad or not working, just that it needs to be reviewed..

first step is to accept that what's happening right now is not right.

Re: Kent on Hayne

the salary cap is dodgier than the prince of nigeria offerring you $10M. player managers, club admins, NRL admins and players all know that if one gets done, it'll open a whole bigger can of worms. everyone's gonna turn a blind eye to it, until one club pushes it one too far and the whole thing blow...

Re: The Ashes

not enforcing was a bad call IMO.

had a chance to bowl them under the lights with a brand new ball and do some serious damage.

you wouldn't enforce a follow on when you have good batting conditions.

Re: What it means to be Wests Tigers..

nothing but a fluff piece, if the admin can convince staff and player to believe in it then they've done their job and good on them. i personally dont buy in to it, the history of Wests Tigers as a team has been crap and they need to know that they are the ones who need to change that. The onus is o...

Re: RL World Cup 2017 Thread...* SPOILERS

just saw the last play of tonga england. think it's a 1 on 1 strip, ball goes foward, fifita picks up and scores a try.

very stupid from the ref to not refer it. the way he made the call was a little arrogant and the speed with which he made it tells me, he didnt even see the strip.

I am bitterly disappointed this is seen as more important than more beds or quality teachers, even drawing down on the infrastructure debt.
