Re: Ben Matulino couldn't say no to Ivan Cleary a second time

I like the way he plays and will like it even more if Ivan can bring out the form that he has already shown he is capable of. Looking forward to seeing him on field in WT colours.

Watched the last twenty odd minutes and thought the Fiji middle was awesome, owning Marty where's my mirror and JWH. Haynes went well in finishing off the game as needed.

Freddy has the cedars playing great footy, augurs well for the blues
The problem is origin is played at night in the middle of winter. Very different to playing on a dry track
Would hope a day game is on the cards with a dedicated weekend this year.

Oils lost all credibility when Garret put on a tie, no thanks Even so ...they are still a brilliant rock band and the best band you'll ever see live . Can't quite go with best as there was some bloody good competition around, Chisel being a rung above for mine before the split, but the Oils really ...

Rob Hirst has a shack two doors away from me. He has a chat when here and about. I have their Bed are Burning vinyl album unopened.
What is the use of that. Get it out and crank it up.

Re: Captain for 2018?

Co captains Taylor and Brooks I'm of the belief we need to make Brooks more accountable and make him understand the clubs performance in 2018 sits fairly and squarely solely on his shoulders Hoping that will bring the best out of him on a more consistent basis And if it doesn't its time for him to ...

Re: AN EMOTIONAL Benji Marshall has opened up on his rollercoaster rugby league career & the return “home” to Wests Tig

“He brings a tremendous amount of goodwill to the team. When I got here last year there was a sense of disconnect between some of the more high-profile guys at the club with the others. Interesting comment. I guess some already knew and others assumed something wasn't right in the playing group. Do...

What? Didn't know he was that big.
Expect him to be a little bigger next season. Kid only turned 18 this year so he's still got some growing to do.
Wow okay, I thought he was nineteen.

Re: Anxious Reynolds wants to repay Tigers..

With Reynolds loving the Bulldogs as much as he did, it sent a strong message about the Tigers when he moved over. He wasn't just another bloke off contract, he was someone a club would have to give a strong reason to move to shift from a club he loved so much. It shocked people and countered the b...

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

Do you believe Chrissy Pyne has been set up or as one responder said "Hell Yeath, that's the way to celebrate the SSM yes vote". Don't go much on the almost constant whining of Pyne, but the conservatives have been after his head for a long time, with Bernadi long trying to usurp him and gain...

Mugabe overthrown in Zimbabwe?

Seeing reports of a military coup in Zimbabwe. Though the guy had a hand in rightfully fighting to get his people's lands from the foreigners that took it from them, he has long ruled the country with an iron fist and taken it to the almost the point of collapse. It was formerly a majestic country w...

The only possible negative I can see is if he gets too tied up in the media crap again. Prodigal son returns.....
The flip side is the exposure the club gains.

Win/win situation for mine. Benji has admitted his mistakes, paid the price, served his time, and changed his game, so I see no reason not to embrace his return.
