Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I for one wish we still had him, he and Chris Lawrence and Brooks are the last players to come through the grades at WT, ( stand corrected if I’ve missed someone) next year we will have a team made up of mainly mercenary Kiwis who are playing for the bucks, they would never consider having 2041 tat...

I'm sure I read somewhere that it's mandatory for players to have a month off after the season and they can't train with the club officially until they've had that.
Our season finished at the start of September, sadly, so he had plenty of time off.

Re: What Car do you Drive..?

2004 Holden Monaro (black) with a few enhancements... A nice and smooth looking vehicle, just like the utes of that year. Sadly they were the last, as they then added a heap of unnecessary crap and harsher lines, which ruined them in my eyes and I have never really looked at, nor cared for cars muc...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Looking forward to seeing WT with starting front rowers that regularly find their front and get a speedy play the ball. Something that has been lacking since big Keithy departed, though Grant went well in that regard in the latter part of this season. Big Keithy, fast play the balls? He was as slow...

Re: What Car do you Drive..?

Gave up the SS Ute a couple of weeks before the young fella was due, buying a Hyundai SUV as a family car (ridiculously cheaper with leather seats sunroof etc than the competition at the time) and a Hilux around the same time in 2010. Of late, the missus is forever in my ear about getting a more spo...

Re: Is it time to exactly quantify the players value?

Under such a system I envisage wholesale appeals to lower their nominal value and/or rating as players come off contract, making them more attractive to get more dollars from the rich clubs.

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

Pretty fair to say that many in the electorate would have voted differently had they known he was a dual citizen. Well, we'll soon know. lol. So, he got a POSITIVE swing of +12%!! Throws your argument well out the window... Just goes to show that this whole thing is just a stupid farce and a waste ...

I agree, French is a pretzel - ready to snap.
He is a 'footballer', something sadly lacking in the modern game that caters more and more for athletic giants.

I have enough trouble accepting our major sponsor, let alone worrying about those of others.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Once again people are wasting a sh.t load of time thinking Tui is about to be overlooked for RTS. RTS is not coming to the WT, firstly I doubt the Warriors would give him a release and secondly if he did get a release , he would be heading to a club with a proven track record. The so called reason ...

Could have been worse, could have drawn Englands group or Portugals group. Way harder IMO
Know little about the other countries, but having all three in our pool ranked above twelfth sounds about as hard as it gets to me.
