Afraid this is another of those topics that finds logic and bibles drawn at ten paces.

Re: Wests Tigers - 2018 development players

So are we limited to just the top 30 to pick NRL players from? All Clubs are...outside of that exemptions will need to be sort much like they were after the old second tier Cap was exhausted which no longer exists... It's one of the sticking points from the RLPA for the CBA in that non NRL both you...

Re: Euthanasia legislation passed Holy Moses

As BFF said it still has to pass the upper house. No idea what the numbers are like there. I heard on Triple J yesterday that it easier in the Vic senate than the lower house. But who really knows. They vote on this in the lower house in NSW next month. I really hope it passes in all States of Aust...

Re: Euthanasia legislation passed Holy Moses

Good. . . . A bit of dignity Can't see too many opposing this Many legislators did oppose but was eventually passed 47-37 but still has to pass the upper chamber yet. It was a big hypocrisy the Roman Catholic Church (RCC) opposing euthanasia legislation but effectively practising it in their pallia...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

The chooks would definitely be the team to beat with the "Puppet Master" in control, but Cam is staying in Melbourne. Though he is no doubt a good player, I will hold my final judgement on Cronk until he is without Cam running the show and the other grub chiming in. That said, he will still have go...

I will lose all respect for Cronk if he decides to join the Rorters. Ultimate thuggery.
Two contracts a season for him and his mates wasn't quite enough? Was for me.

Re: 2018 Draw (rd 1 to 25)

Massive opportunity to make a statement. Someone has to have the toughest draw, and to my knowledge this is the first time it's us. Let's face it, how useful have "kind" draws been, given we have 3 finals appearances! At the end of 2017, with teams hitting their straps for the semis, I felt like we...

Still I ask, why sign only 4 when 6 is the possibility?
Can someone explain the benefits/disadvantages to this?
Stuffed if I can see the point of cherry picking some young players to develop that cannot play NRL if they prove worthy.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Easts would be the team to beat in 2018 with the Puppet Master on board. I would give anything to have Cronk at WT. One of the best half backs of all time and a player you can build a side around. Makes Brooks look like amateur hour. Easts verses Storm in the 2018 Grand Final would be very interest...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I dont understand how the rooters can afford Cronk on what should be a level playing field , however the NRL just dont get it , the general footy public dont care for the rooters ,just look at the blockbuster 25000 crowd they drew in a major final. The NRL need to have the Tigers,Souths ,Dragons ,Do...

Call me a cynic but does anyone believe the Cronk charade? I mean has this been an exercise in buying time for TPAs to be organised (independent of course of the "Sydney Club").
Oddly similar to their number one signing so far, just do it.

Re: RL World Cup 2017 Thread...

Thanks for the article Geo.

Yet to hear Elijah make a statement nor see an action that shows him as anything other than a real good bloke. I have always been pleased with his contribution throughout a career amongst giants, but less than eight errors a season, every season, wow, what a stat.

Any one heard of the Oasis project . Joint venture between Liverpool council , the bulldogs leagues club, and Macquarie Bank. ??
Wow, that's a blast from the past. Was building a home for a bank director at the time and things were said to be very shady to say the least.

I consider you spineless for only taking on a Big Red with a rifle - take him on barehanded just as they are and see how brave you are then. Here is the reference for Belinda Green who saves the kangaroos and orphans that you have shot http://iview.abc.net.au/programs/australian-story/NC1701Q034S00...

No hurt feelings, but cannot make head nor tails of the rest of the sentence, so what are you on “Clearly had more than half the...
