Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

Geez TT, Ivan wanted (and virtually undoubtedly still wants) to leave us to go to Penrith, not at the expiration if his WT contract, but now and told Pascoe and the club just that. That he was originally told in no uncertain terms that he would not be allowed to leave, even if he officially request...

Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

Can you honestly say Pascoe is acting like a CEO who knows his coach is committed to the cause. I just cant see how you cant justify that statement. Ivan signed for 3 years initially, after that he can do what he likes...you and avo are making it personal without getting confirmation from the club.....

Re: P. C HAS TAKEN OVER

Was asked to be a trainer for the girls/female nines comp team/s today and am considering my involvement. Funnily enough, part of the reasoning was as a result of a situation in which I felt quite uncomfortable at our club presentation day. A cluster of girl mini and mod players at our club were aro...

Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

Cool, thanks Col. Maybe you should call Pascoe and tell him to stop interviewing replacements then? AVO and Patriots hate for Ivan is overwhelming without knowledge from the club....dont make this all about what you guys want...its the nrl and anything is possible... Can you honestly say Pascoe is ...

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

I also note the huge turnout in London over Brexit, with about one percent of the nation's population attending. As more and more people over there realise just what their initial apathy or lack of information allowed for a reasoned decision, I see a second vote as the only viable decision and a de...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I might get crucified for this but I honestly think we should target Hayne. I think he is exactly what we need. His back end of the season was really good. We do need a centre and someone of his calibre and his valuable experience is too hard to turn down. Thoughts?? I also heard he is being target...

Huge vote against plenty of things. Conservative's ideals and stranglehold on the party wielding an imbalanced amount of power and removal of Turnbull, climate change, and archaic detention policies at the forefront.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Jacob Liddle really needs to step up doesnt he. He has been far from convincing with injury and what not. Someone needs to step up. Good to see this kid on board. I might sound cruel because of his bad run of injuries, but I think Liddle will turn out to be another one of those 'shoulda, coulda, wo...

Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

So if Maguire has signed on who coaches the side at the start of pre season. New Zealand tests will still be going on. Seeing as it is mainly testing and fitness first up, assume that would be Ronnie Palmer and the regular assistants, but who knows where he and/or they fall when the dominoes finall...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

the longer it drags on, it only makes me doubt that Justin & Marina have any control at all. and the last thing we need is to make rash decisions that only lead us to a repeat of the coaching predicament post Sheens. Slightly conflicting there Lauren. I think Justin and Marina are taking their time...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

This stupid situation is getting more stupid by the day...fair dinkum The NRL has created this joke. Issue is Greenberg was the biggest culprit poaching Des from Manly when he was Dogs CEO. Didn't Gus originally poach Cleary from the Warriors before that...there is form there..pretty sure he was co...

Re: New coach.. Who should we target?

Ever notice the people who always dispute Bennett as the greatest coach ever because of the luxuries he's had, never offer up an alternative. Same goes with Bellamy. Very fast to shoot them down, but very slow to offer up anyone better. Jack Gibson always left Clubs in a better state than he found ...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

The problem was the Clubs media department running with the bus they made it more than what it was... The culture thing such as be the player your team mates want to play with and star of the team is the team was all Cleary driving his mantra which now looks like a pile of crap ... it's where he lo...
