Re: Wests Tigers hit by staphlycoccus scare (New news)

Two have resumed training so that is good news. These two would have to be robbie woods or richards. Hopefully the other that is likely to play is one of these three. If we can get a gutsy win from the dragons with no injuries we should be very close to full strength squad for the gold coast...thats...

Most likely they will count a refresh as an impression from the ads. All ads up after a while.

Not if Farah, Richards and Woods are sidelined. We will be in some serious trouble if they are ruled out.

Re: Round 1 Media Previews

Yeah I'm thinking that Roosters and Cowboys will be the teams to beat this year. Roosters especially just have too much talent across the park and Cowboys have always had a superb roster just lacked drive (which they will have this year). Yes the trials were just trials but our defense was miles bet...

Re: Wests Tigers Round 1 Team - Official Line Up

I really love the size of this squad. All players on the bench are able to make impact which I really feel we have lacked. I personally think Patterson would have been better to start at 11 and have Bodene on bench. If there is an injury to any backs, Bodene can slot in at centre and move correspond...

Re: Dragons Team

It may not look like the strongest team, but we can't take any teams or any games lightly. Every round has to be a MUST win to bring a winning culture back to the Wests Tigers. They have a fairly strong back row but I believe a Front row rotation of Woods, Galloway, Gavet and Tupau will be enough t...

I think this will be the year for Galloway to show that he is truley past his injuries. 15+ games from him will make a huge difference

Re: Galloway determined to silence critics

I have, and always will be, a staunch fan of Galloway. He doesn't do anything flashy or have "good speed for a bloke his size", he's just a classic bulldozer-like prop who makes consistent meters and is solid in defense. Back in 2012, as soon as we lost Galloway to injury I said to my mate that we w...

Re: Masada Iosefa signed to Manly

They said the same thing about Brenton Lawrence when they signed him.
Manly have a knack for taking unwanted players with little skill and turning them into solid first graders.

Either way, this doesn't affect us as we have Luani and Cherrington in our #9 stocks to replace Farah when needed.

Re: Projecting the Wests Tigers Round 1 team

Whether we would like it to be like this or not, I imagine our squad to look like this: Tedesco Nufo Lulia Lawrence Richards Anasta Brooks Woods Farah Tupau Fulton Patterson Blair Galloway Gavet Austin Thomson BMM will be pushing for a bench spot, perhaps taking Austin's place if Potter wants a bit ...

Re: Wests Tigers v Cronulla Sharks - Trial Match Video Highl

To be perfectly honest, I'm most excited about our forward pack this year. Coming into 2013 we were really down on troops and solely relied on Woods. A front row rotation of Woods, Galloway, Tupau and Gavet is actually a formidable crew. Combined with a beefed up Blair and Sue interchanging at lock ...

Re: Wests Tigers v Cronulla Sharks - Trial Match Video Highl

Question for someone who was at the game, how did Brooks play overall? I'm really keen to see how he goes running off Farah and whether he can continue the form we saw in the Dragons game last year. From the snippets I saw from the highlight reel, he seemed to follow Farah like a hawk and is quick e...

Re: Wests Tigers v Cronulla Sharks - Trial Match Video Highl

4 things in that short video stood out to me The boys are still absolute cats with no aggression. Dont know about you but if i saw my 'mate' get smashed like that Polynesian dude got hit, i would have thought 12 players would have swamped him, not a light massage from Farah on his shoulders.....the...

Re: 2015 Marquee signing announced

I would much rather we resign our talent than look for new players. Once we have upgraded all our facilities and have our administration side of things all in order then we can start looking for big name signings. You never know, Patterson might turn into an absolute gun and then we will need to res...
