Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I wouldn't at all be surprised if we don't sign anyone until next year. Why not leave 2 spots for any players that want a mid season release? Parra are leaving a spot open for Semi next year Exactly. We have almost a new team here. We don't know who is going to play poorly and who will do well. Let...

Re: MOYLAN MAYBE RELEASED ..

Bodene is solid, but we been there done that. I think we should just hold onto the cash and see what happens later. Who knows is may help is jag a top class player for season 2019. Next years cap money can't be held onto and spent in 2019, it needs to be used for next years squad. But you can fron ...

Re: Mahe Fonua

Just watching the Wakefield game. He's going to be a real asset to help start our sets on a good note. Very powerful a real handful. Took a good leaping catch in the air to score a try as well. And just as I write this here comes off the wing in defence and allows his winger to score a try. However ...

Re: MOYLAN MAYBE RELEASED ..

If we were to get Moylan then I wouldn't be unhappy. Depending on cost of course. Obviously he's a quality player. With regards to his personality Ivan has dealt with him previously and also has a pretty solid inside information link to know how Moylan is dealing with the Penrith playing group. Ther...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Unless we can get an awesome bargain with the current cap drama, I think it could be a smart move to fill up the remainder of the roster with minimum salary future potentials. Then front load our longer term players with what is left of the cap. The question marks still hanging over our most crucial...

Re: Time to lift the roof at Leichhardt !!

This thread has a finals feel about it. The excitement of September. Something we all dream of.

I guess the game sort of is for us. A final that is.

How good does it feel. Hey, I'll take whatever I can get.

Good luck to everyone for tomorrow.

Re: Can we still be a force? yes we can

I just noticed that sportingbet have us at $151 to win. I am certain that price is the same as what it was in '05 when that tigers fan got on us and the swans and made $750,000. Got me curious about table comparisons. Anyway, the precedent has been set. So as long as there is a heart beat I’ll remai...

I'm enjoying your positive insights into the current situations Boonboon. Some people may call it delusional thinking, head in the sand stuff - but one thing i am certain about is that whether i am b**** & moaning or drifting in the clouds on unrealistic optimism, it will have zero effect on what ha...

Re: Michael hagan

Maybe Sheens needed a hand rearranging the gym? Royce had some good ideas for the gym back in the day. Folkes was also a brilliant gym arranger. Sheens has had to do it himself for the last few years, so he needs some fresh ideas now. I have a feeling that the gym comment is going to get quite a wo...

Re: Troubled Tigers - my first post

i have no problem with the ineffective scrum plays.
They make me feel like we are giving back to the game by creating a purpose for the scrum.

On a more serious note, I want our team to play a bit better.

Re: Do they practice tackling?

could benji at fullback in defense be helpful?

Sure the team in general can be bad but he is just pathetic at times.
They then swap him from side to side trying to confuse the opposition but it just makes our combinations suffer.

Re: Woods Awesome but too many penalties

i think there may be a problem more than copping a few unfotunate square ups.

At one stage the ref called him petulant for his attitude to getting back onside.
To me that indicates bigger issues.

Re: Round 14 vs Melbourne

i hope Bellamy plays the the big 3 in rd 26.
it would be a shame if they got knocked out of the finals before meeting us in GF and we never got to beat them full strength.

if he brings that kicking game to every match then he can flick all day long.

anyway, it wasn't him who drops them. :)

I feel that terrible miss between him & Blake on Sezer(?) in the 1st half is all that will be talked about by those that matter regarding origin selection.

If he is selected we are in big trouble.

Re: Farah not suited for Origin - Roach

If some sort of miracle happens and Robbie gets selected the actual watching of the game will be one of the most torturous of my life. I will be so nervous for him not to screw it up. Hopefully he can come out like he did in his debut game and in the first few minutes put Hayne away for a try that w...

Re: Any Mathematicians out there?

haha

Half the fun (and pain) is all in the amount you put on.

The other half of the fun is devising plans to give you an advantage.
The other half of the pain is realising they don't work until after you put your money on. :)

Any Mathematicians out there?

Does anyone know if there is a formula for the following problem? And if so, what may it be? If you have two different options for a bet and both are paying over $2 then it is possible to place a certain amount of money on both bets that will not only pay you for your desired return but also pays fo...
