Re: Adam Blair

Pettybourne would have been on peanuts though surely? Was a nobody player, solid but never outstanding. Likely on 1/4-1/3 of Blair. Mona you can't just do the 1%ers though. Every player needs to do his share of the work and this is where Blair rightly gets criticised. You can't be a leader in a forw...

Re: James Tedesco...

Who would be the clubs with money to throw at him? Dogs have no cash. They'd have to offload players first and then look at signing more players from other clubs. Hiku would be cheaper and more likely. Souths, Dragons, Manly all have established fullbacks, Roosters have RTS to replace Mini, possibly...

Re: Wests Tigers NYC team for Round 2

Thanks Watto. Funaki does go hard. Big boy, not overly tall but very very strong for a 18-19 year old. The fact they put him on the wings shows his agility isn't too bad either! Who was playing 6 yesterday? Martin or Levido? And you'd have to be a bit patient with Moses, he's just coming abck frmo i...

Re: Wests Tigers NYC team for Round 2

If anyone here saw the game who were the standouts?

Those reviews don't always tell the whole story. A prop who consistently makes good metres but doesn't break the line rarely makes these types of reports for example.

Re: James Roberts SIGN HIM

Wasn't he going to the Dogs anyway?

Not sure i'd want him. we seem to have a good set of boys at the moment, with good attitude and bonding. an egotistical show pony could interrupt that. If he's willing to sign as a backup then maybe. Have him in NSW cup til he warrants a promotion.

Re: Gavet.....Gavayyyyy

Was a solid effort by him yesterday. The fact his brother did the same chase but caught the back and saved a certain try says something about this family. Give everything your all. It's only his 3rd game in the grade and like all new players will take some time to adapt, but the boy has guts, spirit...

Re: Seven tackles make Tigers over-thinkers - NRL.com Articl

I hadn't heard anything about these new rules until i was at the game and my mate was explaining it. Even he didn't really understand. Is it 7 tackles only if the ball goes dead in goal, or also for catching a bomb in goal? He thought it was the former, but the refs gave the dragons a couple of the ...

Re: Wests Tigers NYC team for Round 2

Satterthwaite is unlucky, Ogden is extremely lucky. He looked more like a backup prop than a winger! Dooner didn't play last week so maybe he's still got some injury issues. The team just have to write off last week's performance. You can't win a game with 30% possession, and any team forced to do t...

Re: Balmain R4 Junior Rep Squads

Tell me Perth doesn't have a team in the Sydney grade comp? And if they do surely they'd play all games in Sydney??! Otherwise who on earth is paying for the 40-50 players and staff of each team to travel to or from Perth?! Also what are the odds of big Pifeleti being promoted to NYC as soon as SG B...

Re: NYC Live Game Thread: Tigers V Dragons

Rumours are that the coach is being pressured by management to select the Keebra Park guys in front of proven local juniors .If this is the case the results are there to see! Really? There were only 3 new players from Keebra playing yesterday. Alofi, Martin and Liolevave. The latter two have future...

Re: Mark O Meley

If we include Blair than we have enough depth. If we get some injuries then maybe. When you think about it though, we still only have one prop at the club over the age of 24! Galloway. 2 if you include Blair. Gavet is 24 but hasn't played first grade yet so not exactly experienced. He is only 32 tho...

Re: Farah, Woods and Richards quarantined: boils

This could be worse than first thought. Staph infections for 5 players, one to be sidelined this weekend. Cronulla players also affected Posted using RoarFEED 2013 do they HAVE to get EVERYTHING after the tigers?!! Actually by now hopefully you realise that it appears they are the ones who ha...

And now Benji has been left out of the Blues squad for their match against the Bulls altogether! Can't even make the bench! lol http://www.foxsports.com.au/rugby/blues-drop-benji-marshall-from-squad-for-super-rugby-clash-with-south-africas-bulls/story-e6frf4pu-1226847162941# kinda feel sorry for him...

Re: Wests Tigers hit by staphlycoccus scare (New news)

So we have the Sharks to blame for all this? Another reason to kick them out..! ;)

I'm guessing the main player here is BMM - not listed anywhere, not on injury list etc.

A fictitious, futuristic land. Yep sounds about right for the Sharks to me.

The only move the Sharks should be thinking of is Queensland.
