Im happy to give him the season to get his body in order and to be on the field for all of 2019. If not able to do, then off to ESL my friend- its a bit easier on the body.
Very kind.

Re: Official - Josh Reynolds Signs Megathread

The try he scored in his last game was great and showed what he is capable of. I'd like to see him get healthy and play out his contract with us.

Re: Luke's NRL dream garnering momentum..

I sometimes wonder about this fascination with player weight - e.g. that Garner's profile says he's 94 kg and that's an issue. Not just what steve-o already noted, that maybe his weight has shifted since pre-season, but also what weight is too small and what weight too big for any given player? Den...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Milner may be only 91kg but we all wanted Luke Garner to be promoted to firsts and I'm pretty sure he's only a 94kg backrower.

For those who only wanted to give him a kick up the arse as he goes through the door, shame on you. He is a wholehearted player who always did his best for us.

It seems some people here need to constantly remind others of what they thought or predicted earlier, they need to be proven right constantly...is it an ego thing or justification issues?
Knowing your stuff here is very very important...LOL
Couldn't agree more. Cringeworthy.

Re: Father and son broncos or roosters

Oh my god! There is a rumour that Ivan and Nathan might end up at another club?? Run for the hills!

On the other hand, whatever happens, we will still have a coach.

Re: New forwards needed for 2019

Klemmer is a current SOO player and far better than anyone we can field. If there was any chance of getting him here, which I strongly doubt, I'd say go for it.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

The roster question was always going to be a process over time. Ivan has freely and often expressed the fact that certain players are stop-gap players for now but not necessarily for the future - it is an evolving thing and he will always be looking to improve the roster over time. At the moment he...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Easiest way to see what will appen is to offer Ivan a 2 year extension at the end of this year so we have him for 2019 , 2020 , 2021 , 2022 , that's 4 years and if Nathan wants to play with his farther it will be in this time slot I think Hyperbole with a capital H this is. Great idea. Lets extend ...

Re: New forwards needed for 2019

Having watched the last two debacles, it seems that our confidence is shot to bits. Firstly we need to hold the ball and not kick on the 3rd and 4th tackles; we need to keep the ball in hand and just can't afford to give the opposition free tackles. Secondly, it would help a great deal if our forwar...

Re: An Embarrassing Bunch Of Bumbling Bafoons!

I have to believe that Packer is playing injured. He just has to be. Well he aint performing so he should be re-habbed until he can perform at a higher level.... ....or maybe hes just come down to WTs level? Yeah we less updated on injuries under ivan. My guess reynolds will be on side line again. ...

Remember the movie where the bus was packed with explosives and would explode if it slowed down?

Guess what, we slowed down and the consequences followed.

Re: Mbye game review

I thought he had a great game, unlike most of our forwards who again capitulated. Would we be higher up the ladder if he was here earlier? Perhaps but we can't expect to win games when our pack is being dominated and I still believe that they are capable of great things, as in the first 5 weeks. To ...

Re: The Liechardt Myth

from my seat at CSS, in the western stand, I can see every part of the field. Why do people want to stand on a sloping paddock with very limited views to watch a game? Atmosphere? I'd call it torture and if I want to see my team get flogged, I'd rather do it in some comfort. Now, what was that abou...

Re: Your team vs Dragons

Mbye, Farah, Lawrence, Reynolds and Naiquama all went well and should hold their places. I also thought that Twal and Aloiai tried hard. For mine the rest of the spots should be up for grabs but we all know that in the real world, any changes will be minor and Saints will rip our team a new wazoo!
