Re: The Contenders: Lock

Eisenhuth was very successful in the lock position. So I think he start there. Twal could be very good there as well. We are blessed to have to guys like that with big motors.
If Eisenhuth picks up an injury and Twal goes to 13, our team structure won’t change much at all.

A halves combination of Brooks and Reynolds is greater than a halves combo of Brooks and Moses.

Re: The Contenders: Lock

Lawrence is a great hole runner - hits at tremendous speed but can have a loose carry when taking the ball at the line Yeah he struggles with the flat ball at the ad line , but then again if he hits the hole and the playmaker hits Rowdy it shouldn't be an issue , should it ?? That's why any good ba...

Ive never seen someone so shamelessly name drop as much as you do Happy Tiger. Any chance any of your stories are true? You remind me of that fellow from Byron Bay. Something we share in common Happy. I’m a massive name dropper as well. Particularly amongst my work mates at Friday lunch . I can’t h...

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

I rarely have a look in this thread. So I’ve missed 95% of it. I’ve Just read the last two pages. Happy , your comments are gold. The word galoot is rarely used completely seriously. Instead, it is usually used as playful exaggeration or in self-deprecation. On those rare occasions when it is more d...

Re: The Contenders: Hooker

When your 3rd string hooker (ET), becomes an extra backrower with a representative pedigree twenty minutes into the game, I'd say our forward stocks are looking better than I've seen for a long time. I think he's a shoo in to start at hooker with Liddle or McKiller on the bench. Agree with starting...

Re: The Contenders: Hooker

Probably our weakest position. A few players could do a job but no stand-outs at hooker

.
No one is terrible at DH but no one is a possible rep player either.

Re: Realistic team list round 1 2018

I’m not sure about a round 1 team but my prediction is we will give the Roosters a toweling. Everyone involved at the club is saying there is a hunger and determination not seen before. Listen to Reynolds on the latest podcast - he says everything is a competition at the moment. I’m not sure how we...

Re: The Contenders: Lock

Eisenhuth. For mine. What he did in the last half a dozen games of the season, help us steady as a team. It was wasn't just the number of tackles. It was the way he wrapped up the ball. Plus his average 130 metres in attack was handy. He uses his big wing span in attack and defence. ET passing game ...

Well there you go...everyone time for new Rd 1 Team Lists...
Yep... I've got you starting at #9.

Stay off those pie's in NZ!

I wouldn’t trust an Kiwi pie. For a start they don’t have cows in NZ (only sheep and an Aussie Pussom plague ) so it would be mutton (or possum) dress up as beef.

Re: Realistic team list round 1 2018

I don't thihnk the HOOTH is a lock in pick, wouldn't surprise at all if he on the bench or maybe not in the 17. 2017 was a shocking season for the WestsTigers. However I don't think the Wests Tigers were really dominated in the forwards after Eisenhuth started at lock for the last 6 games of the yea...

Re: What Car do you Drive..?

We are a two car family. Family car is the Kluger. The second car is a manual 2001 Subaru Liberty. I’ve kept it for my two daughters to learn to drive on. It’s just over 16 yrs old and has never broken down. It’s been a really good car but if they prang it I won’t be upset either . It AWD has air ba...
