Re: MVP Chris Lawrence

He certainly provides good momentum for the Tigers in both attack and defence.

I remember Andy Currier very well. I'd take another one of them.
He was great. He seemed to make breaks all the time and was hard to stop.

Re: Coach or Cattle

Ivan has been lucky here that he been able to start the roster from a clean slate and pick his own players. The coach and the cattle work hand in hand you need players who buy into what the coach is selling and are onboard with their vision 100% and the coach needs the type of players that suit the...

SJ is out tonight which will be a big hit but last time that Lino got a chance earlier in the season he killed it. Should be interesting.
What! He's my captain in SC.

In lieu of who Milky?
Not based off inside gossip. This ones my opinion.

I think he will come on for Godinet
I think Gamble is just there cos Benji still isn't 100%

Just what I'm seeing.
I'm thinking Tacky correct but hoping for Milky's thoughts on the team.

Re: Official Team to take on the Newcastle Knights

Thought we’d miss Reynolds - not a bit. Thought we’d miss Taylor - didn’t miss a beat. Was certain we’d miss Packer - everyone else stepped up. We have a VERY well thought out squad. We replace like for like. For the first time in years I’m confident that the 17 that are picked will step up. Also, ...

Re: Round 7 spoilers

Someone said there is improvement in the Roosters. Is there really? 7 rounds in, its getting to the point where they should be gelling. They can't hide behind the gelling excuse for much longer. Im thinking Robinson may be reaching his used by date at that club. Jason Taylor as attacking coach. You...

Re: Round 7 spoilers

A couple of interesting games tonight. 1 v 2 on the ladder.
Don't know how that game will go. Both sides halves have combined well and have strong packs.

Then Broncos V Storm. Both teams have been up and down. Best thing about this game is someone will lose and still be on 6 points after 7 rounds.

Hopefully there is a head clash and they are both knocked out. P.S. Geo is in China and frowns upon Schadenfreude. So we can go hard. They have dodgy/govt controlled internet in China. WTF would be blackband for sure. It's about the only bloody thing that isnt......WTF ROCKS CHINA... Anyone want ro...

Re: NRL team stats, where are we?

Very interesting Don, the last bit.... Will keep an eye out for that in future I was listen to a Manly fan talk about the speed of our forwards and also what we were doing to them in the tackle. He was impressed because it was a tactic that seemed to take a lot out of the Manly forwards. We weren't...

Re: NRL team stats, where are we?

2 of the comp's top 4 offloaders in our backline? That's saying something. Also on Rochow, does he have high overall MTs or high % MTs? I believe he has played every minute of every game this season, so with big-minute players we obviously need to consider ratios. But most important - points conced...

Re: Fitness

Credit to the preseason trainers. We look like a fit and fast team. In the games where we have come out fast (Manly and Parra) games we have maxed out for a period, then had enough fitness to hold on. When I say fast I don't mean we have bought faster players to the club. It more that the players th...

Re: Why it's easy to relate to the defiance of the Tigers

To a certain extent she is right. Defiance or the attitude of wanting to be in the contest for 80 mins is something Ivan started instill when he first came here. He has put things in place to change the culture and build a team on toughness with no short cuts. He recruited the players with the attit...
