Re: Moses Suli

Wow okay, I thought he was nineteen. Maybe he is, but at 18-19, he's still got growing to do, not so much in height, but you can be sure he will get stronger and gain more muscle over the next couple of years. This is why I think his days in the centres will be numbered, I suspect his playing weigh...

Re: Wests Tigers strengthen position in Macarthur region..

For all you pro Balmain whingers - the original agreement when the joint venture started was that Wests and Balmain would maintain a team in the highest comp under NRL. Sheens destroyed that agreement when he convinced the board that all the Wests State Cup players should be included wit h BRET to ...

Re: Who Improves in 2018

It has got to be Brooks, if not then we are in for another long season. He hasnt got ball hogs like Farah and limelight hogs who only care about their highlight reels like Moses and Tedesco to worry about. He'll have great support from Reynolds and Benji, quick service from Liddle and strong runner...

Re: Who Improves in 2018

Twal will be the biggest improver IMO. He's in for a big 2018 He needs to improve his defence he's missed 1 tackle out of 145 in the RLWC and I think he missed 5 in those 9 NRL games for us!!! Yep. He might have to play for the Magpies until he learns to stop his man and doesn’t become another Mose...

How about this option?

6. Brooks
7. Cleary
9. Liddle
14. Reynolds
Reynolds would be awesome coming off the bench fresh . If you had a side like that.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Kev may not make the R1 team but when injuries or bad form hit, he'll be much better back up than we have had over the last few years.

Re: Nathan Cleary

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, IC thinks to himself; "Bingo". Yes . Good timing as well with Fletcher saying Gould is on holidays and Nathan's five year extension was never finalised because it's with Gus and he's looking at the whole cap. Penrith fans will be now pointing the finger at Gus and Gus ...

Re: Wests Tigers strengthen position in Macarthur region..

For all you pro Balmain whingers
That’s a quick way to get a lot of people off side.

Anyway...it should be a good side. With possibility Benji, Gamble, Kev, MCK, Sue, Lawrence ect all having games for the Magpies next year.
I personally would like our Reserves to be playing for the WestsTigers.

Suli could be our BJ..but not a tool..
Qld have had a few big centre over the years
Mal Meninga, Gene Miles, Chris Close
The has been a bit of a habit of Coaches of trying to play some second rower in the centres.

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

Have a look at some of the old political cartoons for the 1800's or WW1 or the current French ones directed at Muslins. This is pretty tame to some of those.

Re: Nathan Cleary

Geez. Ivan must have really got in their heads. I'd be disappointed if our CEO reacted this way way to a coach saying he'd like to work with his son in the future.
Fletcher did a fair bit a finger pointing in a short amount of time. Maybe his on the same stuff as Keogh.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Season hasn't even started and we are already bagging our own. It's still a good debate. With positions in the centres and wing up yet to be determined. So many new players, So many players played there first season in NRL last year. Some still playing League now RLWC after a full NRL season, other...

Re: AN EMOTIONAL Benji Marshall has opened up on his rollercoaster rugby league career & the return “home” to Wests Tig

The only possible negative I can see is if he gets too tied up in the media crap again. Prodigal son returns..... The flip side is the exposure the club gains. Yeah I agree. There are plenty of positive PR possibilities. I think the club needs to keep an eye on things though so no individual distra...

Re: Nathan Cleary

I remember when we played the Panthers, Ivan said something along the lines of "it's weird coaching against your son". Don't think they want to do that for the rest of their careers. I can see why both would want to be at the one club.

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

I maybe naive, but I really do not think being in a Labor or Liberal electorate determined whether the individual voted yes/no. I think it was more what age you are, your culture, your religion, your own sexual preference etc. that determined how you voted. It will now be interesting to see what re...
