Re: What it means to be Wests Tigers..

Great to see Whatuira. Still to this day, one of the most underrated and under valued players to pull on our jersey. Should have been here much longer. There are some good people on board at the club at present Its my club and my team and whilever it exists it will be, yeh we can be cynical and cri...

Re: Anxious Reynolds wants to repay Tigers..

They’re probably shelling out Bitcoins . The NRL would find that hard to track

Re: Mitchell Pearce

Frontloading jirskyr. Theyve been building for a premiership this year or next, that much is clear. They had that really thin year a couple of years ago. As sheens put it when we had our tilt in 2010/11. A watershed year. The problem is, we did it with backloading!! We should throw some money at th...

Re: Wests Tigers recruit Sam McIntyre happy to develop slowly

He mentions he trains 5 days a week sometimes six with Saturday's but its not too demanding Bloke is either coping well or he is used to far harder pre season training camps With our history I know which way I'm leaning Looks pretty challenging to me... Kev may be doing the job for Fiji but I can't see him in the Tigers strongest 17.
Agree. At best he'll be a one in three chance to jag a wing spot, up against Fonua & MWZ.
He'll most likely be playing fullback in SC and filling in if injuries strike.

Re: West Tigers -2018 Centres

Suli and Marsters in the centres , Milne on bench Round 1 That way you get a forwards injury you can move Marsters into the forwards and you got a back replacement Losing centres in the modern game puts you on the back foot big time , especially in defence ...and if there is no injury in the forwar...

Re: The Ashes

Lyon reckons Hazlewood is the best pace bowler in the world.
With no all-rounder.... Hazlewood will have to bowl a lot of overs in this series. Both Starc and Cummins are often used in short spells. Hope none of the fast bowlers break down.

Re: Anxious Reynolds wants to repay Tigers..

Are we paying overs ? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that we are paying Reynolds approximately what Parra are paying Moses, and substantially less than the original offer we made to Moses. For approximately the same money, I would take Reynolds over Moses every day of the week. That doesn't...

Re: West Tigers -2018 Centres

The longer the RLWC has gone on the more I want to see him Taane Milne in a WTs jumper. I thought Marsters did a good job at centre in his rookie season. The WTs coaches must see him as a centre (either SC or NRL) as he now looks lighter in the pre season training. I thought Suli and Marsters could ...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Hall shouldve come to Australia 5 years ago, but not now... Pass on the rest of the Poms for now, I like the idea of chasing Dylan Napa though once his next contract comes up. He should be at his prime as a Prop and 2020 could see the decline in Packer or Matulino. Napa & Twal from 2020 sound good!...

Re: Taane Milne (official)

But will he start? Between Nofo, Kev N, MWZ, Founa, Thompson, Marsters and Milne (have I missed anyone) We have to get 2 centers and 2 wingers. If the bench spot goes too Marshall (and it may) it leaves 3 people sitting out. Ok one will be MWZ, but on the above list, Milne is going to have to fight...

Re: Moses Suli

Wow okay, I thought he was nineteen. Maybe he is, but at 18-19, he's still got growing to do, not so much in height, but you can be sure he will get stronger and gain more muscle over the next couple of years. This is why I think his days in the centres will be numbered, I suspect his playing weigh...

Re: Wests Tigers strengthen position in Macarthur region..

For all you pro Balmain whingers - the original agreement when the joint venture started was that Wests and Balmain would maintain a team in the highest comp under NRL. Sheens destroyed that agreement when he convinced the board that all the Wests State Cup players should be included wit h BRET to ...

Re: Who Improves in 2018

It has got to be Brooks, if not then we are in for another long season. He hasnt got ball hogs like Farah and limelight hogs who only care about their highlight reels like Moses and Tedesco to worry about. He'll have great support from Reynolds and Benji, quick service from Liddle and strong runner...
