Re: 2018 Fearless predictions.

Don't know about" No Cronk No Worries". He's been the brains behind that team for years. He rarely makes mistakes, especially his options. On the odd occasion that he stuffs up, he stays calm and works his way out of it. He's more important to that team than Slater. If it's true that he's going to t...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

There shouldn't have been a plebiscite. It's a human right to be married and discrimination against gay people isn't cool. The government should show some balls and just pass it. to quote Basil Faulty the government would have to stitch them back on first That way would mean that the Govt. Would ha...

Re: 2018 Fearless predictions.

That quite a lot of the shine will go off our favourite referee, another year on the legs and more importantly, playing a whole season with out the real brains of the storm beside him.
It could be a long year for the old bloke , he might have to give up his referring.

Re: Paul Vautin axed from The Footy Show

Best sports news that I've heard in 24 years.
Now if we can get them to sack Ray Warren, and that smirking paperweight James Bracey ,
More than 1show will be improved
The big noting fool should never have got the job in the first place anyway.

Re: MOYLAN MAYBE RELEASED ..

Prefer Reynolds myself - don't think we have seen the best of this bloke yet. I am sure Cleary will bring out talent that nobody thought he had. IMHO, we don't need Moylan - we just got rid of a 5/8 with the same traits. As Ink says "Do we really want another 'special', dummy spitting prima donna?"...

Re: MOYLAN MAYBE RELEASED ..

Not sure why such a big deal is being made about McQueen's injury. James Graham had a similar injury earlier this year and came back just fine. There has been no hint that McQueen won't be ready to go come round 1. There was quite a lot of concern coming out of the Titans after he copped the injury...

Re: Heartland needs love

As someone said above, St George have far fewer problems wandering. 6/6 split works fine. 3 games at Campbelltown is a joke! a total Joke. Campbelltown fans should not have to travel 1.5 hours to their "home ground". We need to ditch ANZ or Leichhardt oval and in my view it should be ANZ. We don't ...

Re: Heartland needs love

Self-centred doesn't even come close to summarising that article. For one, it's a merger. Everyone needed to makes sacrifices and two, do you really think any business is going to take a 'punt' that crowd numbers are going to increase with a permanent move. No, you need to demonstrate with your fee...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

SHHHHHH II Lewis Brown’s days at Manly could be numbered. Brown has one year remaining on his deal and is within his rights to see out his contract but there’s whispers that the Sea Eagles won’t stand in Brown’s way if he can secure a long-term deal with another club. https://www.foxsports.com.au/n...

Re: America - Gun Control

Yep it would have been great to see people firing from the crowd into the Mandalay hotel indiscriminantly. Have you been watching 80's action movies recently? Of course it would be stupid. But it's those fools who can't live without a 50 calibre in the house in case they are invaded who say they ar...

Re: America - Gun Control

The amazing thing though , is that the Yank gun lovers keep saying that they need guns to be safe. Well , where was the John Wayne clones when the poo hit the fan, ( in any of these attacks)? You'd think that there'd be hundreds of law abiding citizens streaming into the streets and defending anyon...

I strongly doubt he thought he was getting out of that room alive.
According to at least one official he did.
He's got an opinion. I think he's wrong
Maybe he's in a better place to form an opinion than you or any of us, just maybe

Re: America - Gun Control

With the recent horriic scene in Las Vegas, again the great debate that is gun control has re-emergd. Imo, our country is a good example of how gun reform works. We haven't had a mass shooting since the Howard Government introduced the buyback program after Port Arthur in 1996. We're lucky in the s...

Re: Wooden Spoon Favourites for 2018 with bookies?

If nothing else the OP has generated 3 pages of responses. But....really? I haven't seen the market but I would be pretty sure that the odds would be very conservative at this early stage of betting. Convert those odds to percentages and you will get a good sense of how the odds makers would be pro...
