Re: Kids Footy

Gee I hope so Doc! That'd be fantastic!!
I'll settle for two kids who love their footy and never get a major injury though!

Re: Kids Footy

I've got two boys playing this year, one in U8's is a tall lanky bugger who up until this year had never made a one on one tackle despite often being the biggest kid on the field, just not an aggressive kid. This year it all seems to have clicked for him and he just wants to snap kids in half! He is...

Re: Giving Up Home Games

I was at the game last night, Scully park is a great ground, I was actually really impressed by it. It was sold out too which may be why there was less coverage as they didn't need to sell more tickets. The crowd was overwhelmingly Tigers fans, i'd say at least 5:1 probably more and were fairly voca...

Re: How do players improve back in ISP???

I was just talking in general Upthetigers, I agree, he has been much better this year. I just don't think it's a plausible idea. I'm all for dropping underperformers and I imagine that it would provide them with a big reality check that should make them try harder when they come back but as for actu...

How do players improve back in ISP???

I see people all the time stating that Kev, Brooks and several other players need to go spend time in ISP to learn how to defend. For the life of me I cannot see how that can be productive? ISP is a massive step down in intensity, quality and in particular, defence. If anything, time back there woul...

If there is any justice in the world it'll be the Storm. Just because they are cheating scumbags.

Re: What Car do you Drive..?

I have an old rodeo tonner for trips to and from work and hauling junk about. A 2014 Colorado for towing the caravan and carting kids around. Weekend car is a HZ Kingswood Wagon with a fairly wild 355 stroker. If I baby the s*** out of it I can get about 25L to the hundred! And it's still more effic...

Re: America - Gun Control

I am not nor have I ever been a conspiracy theorist. But one question keeps ringing in my ears. Where are all the spent casings and why are there no burn marks on the carpet? They estimated that he would have loosed around 2500-3000 rounds in ten minutes yet there were what they described as "dozens...

Rowdy is the same weight as me (100) and i'm 6'4" in the old money and not a small build. Goes to show how much muscle some of these blokes are carrying!!

Re: Penrith Team...

I don't expect Cartwright will play. After all the drama in the news about his ex and the payoff and such the press would have a field day if he plays a few days after she is found dead.

I'd be pretty happy for him to have a similar debut to Brooks....
Rock up, lead the team to a demanding win over St.George and grab M.O.M.....
See where i'm going with this????

Re: The Great Wall....

Love team America!! I have the extended version and still find myself singing the songs all the time! Worst movie ever was the notebook. So predictable, as are most chickflicks but it was exceptionally bad. Saw Lion recently and was really pleasantly surprised, not normally the sort of movie I go fo...

Re: I Got The Need For Speed

Nofo ran Jennings down pretty convincingly the other week. He has more toe than you'd think. Just doesn't get put in the clear very often to be able to use it. I'm really hoping that Reynolds will be allowed to play both sides of the field and we get to see both winger/centre combos in action.

Re: Rugby League scrappers

Sonny Bill was obviously pretty handy.
One I always wondered about was Skando? I never saw him throw a punch yet but it seemed like any time there was a melee as soon as he arrived it just stopped instantly. Did they know something we didn't???
