Re: First look at Concord Oval revamp

I reckon Concord is a better draw card for recruitment. Its closeness to Sydney has a big appeal.

Re: Zane Musgrove

I do not think Packer was fit last year. Often seen puffing after 10 minutes & rarely on for longer than 20. He seemed to lose fitness as the year went on.

Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

Bottom line is Cleary can now be branded a liar & not trust worthy. His next five years of nepotism at Penrith could prove a test for the panthers playing roster.

I cannot wait to see Reynolds fit. With him outside Brooks I reckon the best is yet to come.

Re: Leichhardt Oval the GRAVEYARD

I was there & the place was pumping as it was for the Titans & just too many errors killed us. I do not know what else the fans could have done to support the team . In a season of 'what ifs' the first twenty minutes could have seen three trys & game over by alas the Leichhardt hoodoo kicked in again.

Both these kids look like keepers lets hope they continue to develop & that we don't lose them.

Re: WESTS Tigers Team V St George

I'd prefer Fonua on the wing after a long lay off his match fitness will be down & Naiqama has been solid for us. Also with a little more space Mahe will be even more potent.
Lolohea was mentioned earlier - he had his best game in ISP last week & could be a wing option if others get hurt.

Re: Marina Go on League Life

The reference to Brooks & Reyolds was in the context of Nathan coming to Wests. ie Wests are committed to those two but as Ivan has full control of the team its up to him to fit nathan in - if he wants him. I agree - Go was strong & impressive.

Re: Ivan Cleary addresses players as Wests Tigers discuss compensation option

He lives with him & can coach him in two years if he wants but right now he is busy rebuilding our team. How close does he need to be with his son. It is ridiculous & a day of disgrace for Gould & Cleary. Their selfishness has derailed two teams chances for 2018. Nothing to do with a tough family de...

Where is Lolohea - nothing to indicate he is injured.

Re: ISP Team Announcement: Round 19

The forwards are simply not earning their pay packets. Obviously many of this much vaunted ISP pack are treating the club as a a retirement home.

Re: ISP Team Announcement: Round 19

Heleta is our backup fullback & should be played there for the rest of the year. He is far more dangerous than TL. Move Lolohea to wing or centre .

Re: ISP Team Announcement: Round 18

This team look flat from the outset. Little energy & with too many just going through the motions. If they don't fix it quick there good start to the season will all be for nothing.

Re: El Packer

I agree he has looked gassed as have our other forwards in the past couple of games. They seemed to have lost fitness as the season has gone on. Penrith by comparison play with energy till the last minute. Its an 80minute game yet we seem to compete OK for 60 then look busted. Other teams seem to fi...

Add Penrith to the possible suitors also. I reckon Gould is trying to destabilize Griffin to open the door for Ivan to join Nathan at the Panthers.

Re: The Al Packer made 31 metres

I struggle to understand why those props seem gassed after just 20 minutes. The are paid the big bucks to play a game that goes for 80 minutes once a week. The Titans did it in a canter we looked busted.

Re: The Liechardt Myth

Its a crying shame - the crowd showed up to do their bit to help the team but the team couldn't lift. Its hard to believe a better home ground advantage opportunity than yesterday - a must win game, full house, great weather - arghhh. They seemed gassed early into the game.
