Re: Our best and worst WT coaches

Comparing coaches from different eras is impossible. They have nearly completely different playing group to work with. Sheens had Benji at his prime,Farah at his prime, Prince at his prime, Hogo playing out of his skin. a young Pat Richards, Skando playing as good as any other front rower. So to co...

Depends if Brooks and ET are both ruled out or not.. we'll be up against it if JLJ is halfback...
Easy fix the Sheenius way.....Lawrence to 5/8 LOLO to 7....Aloloi to backrow...only 2 more games to go...

Re: Curtis Rona

At the Bledisloe yesterday former wallabies were telling me Rona was going to back the NRL. SG may have been right as apparently we have made a big offer. ARU selection was the first step in retaining him. No doubt that the ARU would be much happier for him to agree to play at an eastern club and n...

What specifically does Brooks have to do to make everyone happy with his performances. Is it as simple as having a better kicking game ?

6 TRIES 15 Try assists 7 line breaks 56 tackles 0 missed and that's just the 1st half..

Geez they are poor stats,he should be in ISP......

Re: Salary Cap...Average wage..

The clubs and NRL have agreed on the figure - its the RLPA that is holding out - apparently they want to nut out are few issues that aren't related to the cap amount - i can only guess its things like insurance and the amount of non related cap money the clubs get. Thanks dp,I suppose its the taile...

Re: Where's our next 7

Wheres our next 7..... Hopefully not in our juniors somewhere and being overhyped and labelled the next A.Johns.. as the wise man once told me "never go over ploughed ground".... I'm prepared to give Brooks this next off season and about 6 rounds next year to really start controlling the team and do...

Re: Hard to be disappointed with that one

If the dummy half is dummying right before intending to pass left, he must be looking right initially or the dummy fools no one, he knows the recipient will be on his left but he has to trust he will be onside... The dummy half would only have a fraction of a second to evaluate if he's onside or no...

Re: Live game thread *spoilers

The whole team has been s*** all year. It's a cop out to just blame it on Hayne. If you don't think Taylor is better than Brooks than you're clueless. Having stabs at people is pretty clueless in itself. I said THE OTHER NIGHT - if you read what you are answering. I say that because he is also rock...

Re: Future looks bright for resilient Tigers

Guys like Eiso, Twal, Esan, Tui, are unexpected positives from this year. Add them to the recruits and we are looking good. Need Brooksy to continue improving though and need someone to own the number 9. I will agree with you that someone has to own the 9,and I think with a good off season and no i...

Take it easy guys....long, long road ahead. come on Stryker, can you be a little ecstatic with the teams last couple of performances, they have been great and are getting better all the time...your right,it is a long road ahead, but we have an excellent driver who is focussed on the road ahead..stabil...

Re: Hard to be disappointed with that one

A little disappointed that we couldn't beat the rorters after clawing back a deficit of 16 points then hitting the lead....however,a tremendous effort by the team especially after last weeks performance and grinding out a great win..this team and club should really prosper in the next few years,it w...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I just viewed an article on Fox that the WTs are keeping an eye on J.Feeney from the Knights squad.. Don't know much about him but the only reason I think he would be purchased would be to strengthen the ISP team as they have been struggling this year..Brooks-Reynolds FG Benji-Gamble-Feeney as back ...

Re: Tim Grant

Players like Grant annoy me a bit. They compete out of their skin at contract negotiation time and then go back to plodding for a couple of years. Very strange that his recent form has coincided with him wanting a 2 year plus deal. I think RP that Grant was carrying an injury earlier in the year,he...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I think that Benji coming back is definitely a good thing for the club,on the field and off it...we have to remember that he and Farah along with Hodgo and many others in that team put the WTs in a very good position publicity wise only poor management sent the club backwards... I don't know what Be...

I turned 40 in January and my sister and bro in law gave me a bottle of Wild Turkey Master's Keep( about $200 a bottle). I've been waiting for a worthy occasion to open it. So if we beat the cocks this weekend, I'm cracking it. :D
Where do you live Russta,Im comin over to help you crack it....
