Re: McQueen

What's the go? Appreciate he's recovering from injury in reggies, but does he look promising? Are there signs of him getting back to his best? I've seen a couple of his games and to be honest he won't be in first grade unless we have a lot of injuries. Garner would be the next to get a call up i wo...

Re: **Live game thread**

Today's game was the first i was able to get to for the year and the big difference for me was the aggression in the forwards. Both Matulino and Packer are aiming up which is contagious. Even Benji is hitting hard in defence. On the back of this the forwards are running hard, not trundling up and ge...

Re: Referees and commentators

Just had the misfortune of listening to Rothfield on both 360 and the 7.30 show. This man should not be given airspace. He is arguing strongly that the refs crackdown must stop, that it is ruining the game. Coincidentally, the crackdown effects his team (sharks) more than most. He is always agenda ...

Adam Reynolds will be in the running i would think. Has Luke Keary declared who he would play for. I read that he was born in QLD but played in Sydney as a Kid. He'd be a chance i would think.

Re: One of our best wins in a long time

Watching tonights game and there wasn't much credit given to the Tigers for the win against the Storm. All i heard was the Storm played poorly, which they did because the Tigers played so well. I hope the Tigers players get a massive chip on there shoulders and come out and smash the Broncos proving...

Re: WESTS Tigers Team V Roosters...

Just had a look at the squad we put up for round 1 last year. Not many have survived from then. Tigers: 1. James Tedesco 2. David Nofoaluma 3. Kevin Naiqama 4. Jamal Idris 5. Jordan Rankin 6. Mitchell Moses 7. Luke Brooks 8. Aaron Woods 9. Matt McIlwrick 10. Ava Seumanufagi 11. Sausao Sue 12. Chris ...

Re: Finals series 2017 *Spoilers

It will be interesting to see what the TV ratings for the Grand Final will be in NSW. Me and some mates did a ring around to see who was keen for a bbq to watch the game and most people have decided to go away for the weekend and said they might watch the game but weren't worried if they missed it. ...

I'll be cheering for whoever is playing the Storm. Can't stand Smith and Slater, and Munster is quickly joining them.

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

I can understand you not mentioning the Bible as it is very embarrassing, for example, not letting a witch to live, homosexuality is an abomination. So the Bible can form the background of people's thinking even if they don't quote it. The Bible is like the devil whispering evil things in your ear....

Anyone know if Tane Edmed is a relation to Steve? He was a tough front rower, not overly talented but wouldn't take a backward step.

Dolphins fan, but have had little joy for a while now!!
It's just as tough being a Dolphins fan as it is being a Tigers fan. Wins are few and far between and when they do occur you just need to savour them. Scratchy game today but they got the win which is the only thing that counts.

Was a fan of Dan Marino and later on lived and worked in Miami for 5 years so am a Dolphins fan. Like the Tigers they are useless for years and then have 1 or 2 good years so you get your hopes up and then back to having a losing record. Gotta enjoy the good years when they come around.

Watching Adam Blair makes me very happy he isn't a tiger anymore. He could get penalised every tackle he makes and is always going in low when his teammates have the opposition in an upright tackle. I wish Glenn Stewart had of connected a few more times when they had that blue a few years ago.

I'm not gay, never have been and never will be so the vote won't affect me. One of my best mates is gay and he doesn't believe in it and is voting NO so that's good enough for me. I'd also like to thank all the politicians for making the decision even easier, as we all know you can't trust a politic...

Not seen many of our 20's games this year but i was really impressed with Alex Seyfarth. Looked dangerous when he had the ball and when he builds his body up a bit more could be a handy first grader.

We had some really good performers tonight. I wish there was a few more games because i think Josh Aloiai is just hitting his straps. Runs very hard and hits in defence which is something we have been missing. Talking about hitting, how good was Edwards tackle on Hingano. It really rocked him but to...

Re: L Brooks

Thought Brooks was good tonight. He is better and more confident when he runs the ball and straightens the attack up. I reckon he could be really dangerous near the line with that acceleration and step which would see him score more tries. I also thought his defence was really good tonight. He is n...

I also loved Herman Hermits in mid sixties - they have appeared at Gold Coast a few times but missed them.
I saw them at Campsie RSL club about 25 years ago. They were great. Henry the 8th and Mrs Brown, great songs.
