Re: Wests Tigers - a history of mediocrity

In any case, the funding is to take the heat off the NSW Government's bungled stadium redevelopment plans ahead of the state election next year.

Claiming it as a result of astute management or governance is laughable.

Re: Wests Tigers - a history of mediocrity

Weve been given $58mill and no comment from the club? Pascoe would be shouting it from the roof tops!! I think Pascoe will wait until it's banked, as Russ has said. I think the article is wrong. $300+ mil means that all clubs have been fully funded. Surely we would have seen something about that be...

Re: Elijah Taylor

ET is a super nice bloke but the harsh truth is that he was axed by the Panthers and isn't the world's greatest player. He's no hooker. He does not pass well enough and isn't quick enough. This is no secret. The fact he's playing hooker ahead of others shows how thin we are in this position. While h...

Re: Wests Tigers - a history of mediocrity

It was reported by AAP on the weekend that Wests Tigers will be granted 58m - this could be used to fill any shortfall for C of E. However we will wait till that hits our bank before getting too carried away. * Part of that 58m (if it eventuates) could be used to fund junior development etc. Have y...

Re: Wests Tigers - a history of mediocrity

Could not disagree with anyone more Silentio. Think you are talking a load of rubbish - probably to fit in with your own thoughts. This is the best Board and CEO we have ever had - Sheens / Cleary the best coaches. You are being totally unrealistic. Interested on what basis you disagree so strongly...

Re: Wests Tigers - a history of mediocrity

Have a look at Parra's mediocrity stats. If you want to win every match then follow Roosters who have some magical very private solution which they have used over the past few years. At least Parra made the finals in recent years..... And I hate the Roosters with a burning passion, but they do get ...

Wests Tigers - a history of mediocrity

I've been a Wests Tigers fan since day one and I've been a footy fan for long enough to know that there are good day and there are bad days. But as long-term fan and member, I'm calling for better from our management and board. We've always struggled and despite the lip service from management that ...

Is this a story placed by his agent? Don’t know why everything has to be done in public for Robbie.
Agree. An embarrassing move by his agent if nobody signs him..

Boss scheduled an interstate work dinner during the first State of Origin last year.

Got back to the hotel and flipped on the tv only for her to ask:

"Uhhh, are the Warringah Eagles playing?"

I hope Farahs playing for the Bears Edit Hes #18 for Souths and not named for Norths Anthony Seibold is on record saying he has tailored an approach for Farah where he doesnt have to play every game. i assume that will include this one. For what its worth Seibolds way of dealing with Farah as well ...

Its hard to believe Mundine is only 42. He looks like he is in his fifties.
True. Last time I heard him talk he sounded like he was in his 80s.

Re: Missing Tackles have no correlation to Conceding Points

I think it might have been Tim Sheens who said high missed tackles can often mean you're attempting lots of tackles. There are other variables at play too, like where on the field you miss tackles/are defending most often and whether other players can complete the tackle quickly. I suspect line brea...

Re: Chee-Kam Fan

For what it's worth, Chee Kam was one of the most chased talents as a junior. He has really stepped up this year. His 2018 stats have him: - Offloading 10x more than Rochow and more than double the next forward (Matulino). - Second in line breaks (stats above are calculated based on minutes played)....
