Re: Mybe

MBYE has been good. Also helps when you have a 9 around the ruck who can hold defenders up to give you some room. Mbye is a terrific buy and a great ambassador for the club. Well spoken and likeable, what is not to be pleased about? His run off Farah was so well timed and something we have missed s...

Re: **Live game thread**

Wernt you adamant this was a disciple thing? Seeing as how nothing was leaked, I figured it was strategic. I can’t see Twal being dropped based on form. He has been our best prop all year. While Sue had an amazing game today i really noticed today that Eisenhuth offers pretty much nothing. I have b...

Re: **Live game thread**

Gotta love the Farah hater's LMAO Can't let go  He doesn't play today we don't win simples. Farah with 48 Tackles most in our side really was in everything . Two big plays today (I know there are more but these were obvious) - 1. Farah's tackle late in the second half when the Dragons were on ...

Re: Luke Garner - Debut

Made a great first up tackle on Vaughan under the ribs which drove him backwards. He didn't look out of place.

Re: **Live game thread**

Brooks second half was a tad...invisible No ball. Farah played hooker and half. Lol who is this muppet? If Farah doesnt play we don't win If mbye doesn't back up we don't score. Tui knows he isn't coming back. Brooks lost his mojo since Farah took control again. Brooks didn't over play his game, go...

Thought Farah was awesome today.
Yes excellent but what about the maturity of Brooks? His repeat sets won us the game with pressure in the first half..

Re: ISP Team Announcement: Round 18

We've lost Felise, Drinkwater and Garner (plus Miline I guess) from the ISP. They have been among our best all year.

Re: Junior recruitment and local junior development since 2012.

Bugger producing juniors IMO, where does it get us anyway? The club busts its arse unearthing and nurturing a budding star only for clubs like Roosters, Sharks, Broncos etc to pluck them from our grasp. Stuff that. Where did the results/gratitude come from with "budding superstars" such as the 3 ma...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Agree with Farah, if he has it in him, Liddle needs more time if it is at all worth it. After watching the Newtown V Norths game I’d go as far as saying he is not in the same league as the younger Brailey. The sharks are an attractive team at the moment. 2nd last team to win a GF and not yet losing...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Hoffman retires at the end of the year though and Stimson is probably a fair chance of partnering Kaufusi in the 2nd row at Melbourne next year. is he related to the legend Mark Stimson? If he is maybe we have a chance to get him. i remember Mark Stimson's comeback game in reserve grade after his a...

Re: Oliver Clark

A guy who was at todays ISP game said only two forwards were worth paying - Alex Twal and Oliver Clarke. He said the other forwards ran across field too much. I asked him how Clarke played and he said he ran aggressively and very solid in defense. Maybe not the plodder at all. I watched the game my...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

With us zero chance of signing a top notch player at the height of their game we should be looking at players who are road blocked at the good clubs, or players who are In the top 17 at good clubs who are on average money because of salary cap constraints. We need some big fast and competitive play...

Re: Junior recruitment and local junior development since 2012.

No stats but here’s a few names: Koroibete Moses Tedesco C Sironen Jnr Tatola Addo-Carr Marshall-king That’s all I can think of Suli and the big one we missed is Douelhi who is an outstanding talent. The powerful clubs rarely let great talent escape their system. At SG Ball level, Douehli was a sta...

Re: ISP Team Announcement: Round 18

I liked the look of Clarke and think he will be a great buy for us. He wanted to come to us for a chance at the NRL so you have to admire him for that.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Peter Ford i think was his name. That;s right. Thanks for reminding me. Peter Ford was a good lock forward (in the great lock forward era, not props masquerading as lock forwards). Zac Lomax wouldn't be a bad centre target as well, I'm sure he signed up but he is a fine prospect., The Dragons also ...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

The young Dragons' second row forward, Jackson Ford, has a bit going for him. Seems like a real goer who is a handful with the ball around 100kgs and six two. I wondered if he is any relation to the Ford from Gerringong who played for the Eels with Mick Cronin and noticed he is from Gerrigong as wel...
