Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

Just as the pollies pull their snouts out of the trough to fess up re citizenship, we await potentially one which could impact the outcome of the Qld election. An article from the BBC in 2010 re Pauline Hanson. Regardless of which side of the political spectrum you sit, having members whose eligibi...

I am bitterly disappointed this is seen as more important than more beds or quality teachers, even drawing down on the infrastructure debt.
Agree CB. Imagine 2b into our hospital system.

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

"She can hold dual citizenship because her father is English." You do realize the majority of Governor Generals in Australia's history were British? No. But my concern is we appear to have a number of Senators or MPs who are ineligible under our constitution yet have voted on matters such as removi...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Roosters are mad! I would've shed JWH before Napa. JWH is on his way out, Napa just beginning his career as a prop really and he's a damn good one at that. Now that Pearce has gone, there should be no need to release Napa. We should look at the Aust Schools prop from the Eels, whom the DT reported ...

Re: Langlands??????

Coming forward to make allegations against a league immortal must be intimidating.

Does anyone recall Langlands and Raper disagreeing with making Johns an immortal and made representations to stop this happening based on rumours that were circulating about Johns' off field behaviour?

Probably Izzy to the Gold Coast to replace Hayne. be a good about face for them Hayne for Folau. Can’t see any Sydney Teams being in the hunt for him.
Could be, but another name came to mind.

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

Another link to a Telegraph UK article. The last line re Pauline Hanson. What a disgrace when the is no certainty about the legitimacy of our Parliament. I guess the GG is too busy enjoying his knighthood and all the functions which go with the office! "She can hold dual citizenship because her fath...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

As for Brooks - people on here seem to be wishing that he fails. For those people that think this way, I feel you will be disappointed. There won't be any need for him to be replaced in week 6 or any other week unless he is injured of course. I was happy we gave Brooks a fair chance with additional...

Not in the race - again. Never in the race mate, yet Newcastle always manage to be. Perhaps we should've won the wooden spoon 3 years running - seems to be an attractant to marquee players  I wouldn't have thought it necessary for WTs to bid? If we chased anybody young Adam Doueili would have...

Re: West Tigers -2018 Centres

I like the look of Milne. Suli has been average. Naiqama is a defensive liability. Marsters is an unknown who looked good in the youth grades cos of his bulk. Having compared to the rest of the teams, our centres, though full of potential, right now are completely unproven and defensively questiona...

He mentions he trains 5 days a week sometimes six with Saturday's but its not too demanding

Bloke is either coping well or he is used to far harder pre season training camps

With our history I know which way I'm leaning
Dylan Smith, who has come over from the Sharks, said the opposite.

Re: RL World Cup 2017 Thread...* SPOILERS

The difference at this stage between Twal and Moses is that the former is all about consistency of performance with impressive stats. Moses ebbs from highs to lows in terms of performance which at his age is probably normal. However the big difference between the two is temperament, which you cannot...

His game is similar to a rugby inside centre. I think he may have played in the Aust Schoolboys Rugby.
