Re: TIGERS Rozelle Development

You should all email Darcy Byrne from the Inner-west council and remind him that his constant objections of the new club being built has now meant a dive site with trucks, dust and noise will be there instead of a small club, appartments and a few shops...great work

Re: TIGERS Rozelle Development

Hi guys...I went to the meeting and all I have to say is......DONT GET YOUR HOPES UP. At the start Darcy Byrne made an impassoned speech saying how much he loves the club and how he wants it back at rozelle.from there it all went downhill....Darcy is a s*** artist,he just doesn't want it.after a ser...

Re: TIGERS Rozelle Development

I know this news may be disappointing but it could work in Balmain leagues favour.the majority of the residents want the club back but not the height of the two towers as in previous plans.speaking to residents a few weeks back they all agreed that this new proposal is almost acceptable.so next time...

Re: AC DC Malcolm Young dead

My ex-wife nursed him at the dementia ward at St Vincents Hospital a couple of years ago and he was in a bad way.He knew none of his family and couldn't look after himself.its an awful illness.

Re: The Prodigal Son Returns

because Ronnie played for Balmain just like Bruce Bruiser Clark played for Wests, both of our clubs are a part of our history.thats why we have the Kelly Barnes award for our best and fairest.the point of this post is not that he is not just a former Balmain player, its because he is a trainer that we...

The Prodigal Son Returns

I have been told by a very reliable source that Ivan Cleary has made an offer to a former Tiger to return to the club next year.the offer has not been accepted yet but chances are he will take it up. See if anyone can guess who it is: 1,as I said he is a former Tiger. 2.been to a number of clubs. 3....

Re: Player fire sale just weeks away

if the dogs are 800k over the cap as reported i would hate to be in their shoes.they will have to release at least 5 players to get under the cap.this is because clubs will expect the dogs to pay part of the contract and even if this happens those players will have to replaced with others.i think th...

Re: The Great Grand Final Heist: How Balmain beat the Rabbitohs by laying down

in 2005 we finished on 32 points...how on earth is that an average season.if you have a spare 25 minutes go to youtube and put in 1969 grandfinal and your small mind might see that Balmain won fair and square.Ian Heads is repected but is trying sensationalise an old story to sell a book.
