Re: Wests Tigers confirm nine players to depart

Losing Ryan Papenhuyzen is suggested as a loss especially with Tedesco gone.. could end up one of the storm players that go from zero to hero... some football opinion I really rate say he is a gun.. personally I have no idea and know little about him I'm sure lots who nothing about him will be full...

Watched this bloke a few weeks ago. Lolly legs. Not sure what the fuss is about.
so, you form an opinion after watching this bloke once? Tell us, what are your credentials?
You must be a better judge than Bellamy, Ponissi & the Melbourne recruitment team!

Re: James Tedesco...Contract Thread..

not a good look for WT retention policy, except Nofoaluma and Brooks we probably lost 3 of our 'big 4' , and now Seumanufagai, arguably our best players :bash We managed to hold Suli, but have lost Papenhuyzen. Strange, they are not interested in our 'stars' like Lawrence, Lovett, Milone, Rankin, N...

Re: Papenhuyzen to Melbourne

CB, sometimes you have to pay out good money to retain the best juniors. That is the way of the NRL. Slater is the best I have ever seen. Darius Boyd is an outstanding fullback and I rate him very highly. Tedesco is very good but not at their level. Where do you play him? You're going to pay a fort...

Re: ISP Trial: Team vs. Wentworthville..

Wests Tigers won 16-8.. Did anyone get to the game at all? Yeh, 1st 25 minutes saw Wenty leading 8-4, both tries scored down our left edge, sorry not sure of all the players names but pretty sure Pio Sokobulava scored Tiges 1st try next to posts. 2nd 25 saw several changes with the left edge defenc...

Re: New state-based competitions from 2018..

Am thinking this change was the reason behind McDonell being moved on. No more NYC=No more Keebra=No need Huh? so the NYC becomes the NSWYC instead of the NYC. What does this change? Very little. You still need kids, there's still an equivalent comp. If anything it could improve the need for Keebra...

Re: Ryan Papenhuyzen

Is he back training with the full time squad yet? I believe he is with a group of NYC boys doing preseason with NSW cup team, will be interesting to see what the club does with him, they took up the 3rd year option on him in 2017. Has now finished his HSC so can hopefully have a great pre-season If...

Re: Ryan Papenhuyzen

Any more news on this kids development. Unfortunately living in QLD i'm limited to seeing junior games in Sydney now. How was his progress towards the end of the year? I'd say probably another full season off first grade with his frame? Unfortunately he got injured (broken foot i think) playing rep...

Re: Naiqama and Simona

Do we have replacements for them in 2017? Thats the question isnt it. We need to look outside the square a little and take a risk . Move Simona to left wing and say "just get the ball and run u dope". Get our strength and conditionng team to have a look at Idris to see what sort of shape he is in. ...

Re: Team List R20 - NYC v Dragons

I don't think this side has fielded the exact same side 2 weeks in a row once all season long. Where is Papaenhuyzen, Sirro jnr, Ioelu, de fiddes. The backline just changes every week. It's impossible to build momentum when your combinations are changing every single game. With Liddle and Paseka ba...

Re: Holden Cup Team Announcement: Round 8 vs. Raiders

Moses Suli was great again .never seen a player make such an impact in 2 halves of footy. He is only 18 and is legible for NYC for another 2 years .one for the future. They need to find someone who can kick goals missed 5 tonight and 4 last week What's his build like? He's not featured in the profil...
