Re: Mayer

Jerry,I was one at first to doubt Mayers job as CEO,however I have given him the chance to show me more.. I think his financial background and sourcing new sponsors deserved credit where it's due,he still has work to do but I feel I have confidence in him to continue improving in his role... I just...

The Reality - Lack of a Leader

In what continues to seem an ever mounting debacle, one thing is becoming increasingly clear - we dont have the leadership to take this club forward. By this, i mean our day to day leader, the CEO. Mayer is a PR guy, not a professional CEO - often, but not always, loving to attach his name with the ...

No 3 Seve looks a good player. Very similar style of player to Michael Jennings.

Re: Retention & Recruitment has been outstanding!

Warren Macdonald deserves most of the credit for this. He is the one responsible for the juniors. He signs all the Keebra guys and all the 20s. Pretty much all of these kids were signed by him on good deals.

Mayer more responsible for NRL signings.

Re: New Culture?

So the first action in developing a "new culture" is to release a long-term player to the Sharks. Im sorry, but unless i have been teleported a couple of years back in time, this has been tried a couple of times over with Gibbs, Fifita, Heighington and Ryan. Thats not changing the culture, that doin...

Re: Recruitment - not so simple

Just wanting to confirm TownTiger ?? When you talk about match payment are you talking about win bonuses or actual match payments A lot of these trigger bonuses you talk about are also only triggered on X amount of victories , Top 8 ,Top 4 playing SOO ,Test Football If they don't win x amount of ga...

Recruitment - not so simple

The injury crisis is not just hurting us on the field this year, it is actually going to seriously affect us next year and we are already seeing the signs of that. With the scale of injuries and more importantly the length of time players are off the field (Galloway, Moltzen, Ayshford, Lawrence etc)...

Re: Blair now on song!

Compared to Galloway, Woods, Bell and Heighno he had an ordinary game. He goes missing for large portions of the game. I still think you can get say 40 minutes tops out of him and it won't all be at the level of most of our other forwards. He has been a terrible buy. Disagree - all of the above pla...

Re: Your team vs souths

Moltzen will be out for a week - too much risk. Lawrence will be a Syndesmosis tear of the upper ankle (same as what Gareth and Lote did last year) - unfortunately this will be a 4-6 week injury BMM - unsure depends if an impact fracture or just bruising, i would suggest a week minimum I dont think ...

Re: Here's Your Chance Campbelltown

I do agree, as I said I'm driving to show support. The fact still remains though that there are no excuses and if fans do not show up, it does little to support the push for 6 games.

Here's Your Chance Campbelltown

Tomorrow Campbelltown supporters of Wests Tigers have their chance to show why they should be considered for 6 games in Campbelltown. This is their chance to show they really want 6 games and It's not all paper talk, politicians and protests. Sunday afternoon for the first time in over two years Fir...

WHO'S GOING?

Who is going to the SFS tomorrow to support and watch our boys beat Souths.

Sunday Arvo at the Footy Stadium doesn't get much better and the club always does a good job of entertainment on Heritage Round games.

I will be there with 12 others- cant wait!

Some of the posts above are so incorrect it is not funny. I took the opportunity to attend one of the Forum feedback sessions with Wests Tigers and met with Brett Clarke. I wish some of those that have posted above would have done the same before shooting their mouths off. One of the main reasons fo...

Re: 2012 Trials

I was always under the impression that the Roosters trial was at Campbelltown. Can't remember anything official from the club saying it was at Leichhardt ever. Inthinknanother forum said it was at Leichhardt and everyone took that as gospel. Good decision to play at Campbelltown and gotta love Bluet...

Re: How many WT jerseys do you own?

Interesting to see quite a few have the new yellow Eye of Tiger jersey. I bought one prior to Christmas and the lady in the shop said they are selling really well. People have obviously come around to these. I really like mine - lighter material is nice and well.
