Re: Funding for Centre of Excellence

Ivan Cleary just continues to impress. Two things - COE or not, the weights still weigh the same; and, if it doesn’t get up we still keep moving forward. He has a great mindset and at the risk of sounding like a broken record- he is just what we need! Yeah I loved that line “ the weights still weig...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

From the The Mole ...... The Bulldogs are considering medically retiring Greg Eastwood after the Kiwi international forward underwent surgery for an irregular heartbeat last week. The club is desperately trying to free up money in the salary cap to sign a halfback and question marks over Eastwood’s...

Re: WT Player Retention/Recruitment/Loss List

I did mention when the Tedesco drama was at its height, at his age we've probably seen the best of him and his previous knee injuries would start to take their toll on his pace etc. This was on the Chookpen. I believe Woods may have had the same procedure and Cordner is rumoured to be having this a...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

There was talk of BMM to Titans but then there was talk that his ESL side were refusing to release him. He is still no better than when we had him imo - still full of errors, uncontrolled aggression and gives away penalties. One pass for a try does not make him a beast - unless it is a fairy tale t...

Brad Arthur desperately wants Sue at the Eels in 2019
How u know that?
Sadly, if Sue continues down the concussion path he did in 2017, he'll be joining Fulton in 2019 not the Eels....tbh, Sue needs to step up another level in 2018 for me to say lets keep him....hope he does though

PR exercise. Never undertake a review or form a committee unless you know what the outcome will be.

In the fine print, you'll read that the terms of reference have been developed by those clubs who have the most TPAs. :D
They'll make a cock-(a-doodle-doo)-up of it.

Re: Nathan Cleary

Yeah i could see 4 possibly being any issue. If Nathan and Ivan become a combo team (that's still an IF, I haven't heard Nathan talk up playing under his dad too much), it's up to us to keep or loose them. Roosters, Panthers or hey a cashed up Bulldogs/whomever will be placing their bids. We know t...

Re: Manly Salary cap issue

Manly will be right, they'll get docked 12 points this year, pay a fine, sign whomever they want after that and then make the top four next year. Just like Parra and the Dogs recovered within two years so will Manly... Most if not all teams are playing Russian Roulette with the TPA's and the CAP......

"Insiders" like SG is a major attraction for me as a WT fan to logon to this Forum on a daily basis. I enjoyed SG's posts...whether or not he had 'inside' information I'm not sure, but he sure did give us something to speculate and talk about...it was clear some of his insights were spot on while ot...
