Re: Same sex marriage debate...

I was thinking more along the lines of theres probably plenty of straighties wishing hetero marriage was illegal Everything can be seen from a different angle. On occasions I have even thought that so called faultless divorce is a bad thing. That is it if means that anything can take place in marri...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

People have really made a mountain out of a mole hill regarding this same-sex marriage debate. If you support the notion vote yes, if you don't then vote no. If it means nothing to you either way then don't vote at all. #howhardisit Though it cost $122,000,000 it is not vote worthy - only a survey....

Re: Did we miss out on Des

Willie Mason had a funny anecdote about Des... Willie caught up with Des about possibly signing with the Dogs after his stint with Manly, and when they met, Des Hasler pulled out a big book of stats, and when on to explain how the stats showed that Aiden Tolman was the best prop in the game. Aiden ...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

................... Domestic violence, sexual assault and youth homelessness are issues impacting many members of the community, not just a minority group. My awareness of these issues and interest in them is hardly suggestive of someone lacking empathy (my moral compass is calibrated). Anyway, ple...

There will be huge expectation on him next year to carry them into the top 4.
I'm really looking forward to see how that goes.
Who gives a s*** about Moses. There will be huge expectation on Brooks to carry us into the finals series.
I would not be expecting that in your Xmas stocking.

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

Why do they refer to radicals lesbains, for example, as looney left? It is not a typical left-right issue at all unless the right wing are conceding that left wingers respect individual human rights more.

Re: Why Sydneysiders should support the Roosters

My Souths mate is ecstatic about Cowboys winning because of Bunny/Roosters rivalry, the Pride of the League want to keep their GF tally above that of Roosters.

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

The guy has said it had nothing to do with being a Yes voter, he's just always hated him. That's why he was wearing a SSM vote Yes badge. Purely coincidental, it was a crime of opportunity. Note the obscene haste Brandis came out to deny he is a SSM supporter. Who cares whether or not he was...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

All those gays who were bashed and pushed over cliffs in the 1970s and 1980s around Sydney I am sure would have much preferred just a bleeding lip instead. It is Abbott's attitude that assists in discrimination that results in more extreme reactions like those murders. That is also why the ripple ef...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

If we've learned anything over the last month, it's that bigotry, intolerance and hate can wear many colours, including rainbow. Can you imagine if a former President of the United States had been physically assaulted in the a capital city while walking down the street? This is unprecedented in Aus...

Re: John Dallas Donnelly 1955-1986

I remember being at Lidcombe Oval, can't remember who Wests were playing, but in those days the toss was on the field. Wests had to change ends and as Dallas was running past halfway to change ends, he clocks an opposing player and keeps going. The game is set up to start and this opposing player i...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

Styrker, to us we are only sideline bit players but to others this a crucial issue. Gays have waited for thousands of years for this opportunity (and it's only a p...weak pleba) and the conservatives see the collapse of western civilisation at hand. For myself it is just a fairness issue. It is more...
