Re: Dogs targeted by poison-laced meatballs in popular Sydney park (Leichhardt)

I don't like how kangaroos are killed to feed domestic dogs - tell the dogs to stuff off and save the kangaroos.

Re: Kangaroos & Kiwis line-ups

The first try disallowed surely was a bad decision. Of course the middle of the inflated ball touches the ground first - and that was in the field of play, a split second before the outside of the ball touches the touchline, so should been a try. I barracked for the Kiwis after that.

Re: 2018 Grand Final Melbourne v Roosters

The commentary on this GF was ruined by the incessant mentioning of Cooper Cronk playing whilst injured. I wished he had gotten off the field just to shut the commentators up. In no way did he work miracles due to his very poor stats (or was that the previous game). They matched Mitch Moses' when he...

Re: Dogs targeted by poison-laced meatballs in popular Sydney park (Leichhardt)

In Sydney one of my relos had to put up with neighbouring giant dogs, maybe pig dogs or whatever barking anytime they seen anyway walking past, they were on an elevated balcony and there was a very busy shop underneath. And also in night time. Complaints were made to Council but nothing was done. Th...

Re: Dogs targeted by poison-laced meatballs in popular Sydney park (Leichhardt)

Unfortunately we have lots of issues similar to this up here People throwing baits into backyards Someone else let a pair of savage dogs into a backyard and they killed two small maltese shiztu dogs can only guess would be due to barking coming from backyard dogs. Not that it justifies it but some ...

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

It is almost with every case of sexual abuse there are no witnesses or if by-standers are drunk it is almost the same effect. Due to the fact that Ford had complained in years earlier and due to her standing in the community I doubt that she would be lying. I hope I am not inadvertently putting down...

Re: Alcohol thread

I don't drink much any more nearly drunk myself to death as a teenager and early 20's. I don't mind a XXXX Summer, really refreshing about 1 a fortnight,. I enjoyed Grolsch a couple of years ago, really hoppy taste took a while to adjust to it after the XXXX. An occasional Tia Maria or Baileys is a...

Re: Ron Casey

I came across him in the lift at the Commonwealth Centre in Chifley Square in about 1968 and I was wearing an anti-conscription badge re Vietnam War. We immediately eye-balled each other and never stopped the whole journey. Didn't think he was a war veteran. He was disrespectful to Normie Rowe's wa...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1PXiINporpk On the Bill Maher show linked here shows that a Republican state of Wyoming only has 287,000 voters and California has about 2,000,000 - yet they both have 2 electoral college voters who elect the president. Now it is understandable why many Americans choo...

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

Can someone explain to me why the President insists on claiming Hillary should be investigated, and leads lock her up chants. when during the election he promised to open an investigation himself. Where's that investigation? Promises kept huh? Not that one. Makes it obvious the Hillary bashing is a...
