Re: Teddy plans to end career at WT

I'd take Tedesco back in a heartbeat. This bloke at his best is argubaly the best player in the NRL. He can single-handely change the momentum of games like he did on the weekend. I really hope he comes back! He's top 3 in regards to fullbacks in the game, no doubt about it. But lets be honest, whe...

Re: Raiders fan ejected for spitting at NRL referee

My favourite was the Knights fan who ran onto the field and joined the Knights defensive line, trying to help them tackle. Mine was the Parramatta lady who jumped the fence to give it to Hartley at Cumberland Oval ! Mine was the couple who did a streak at Byron's Friendly Rugby Sevens. He did his b...

Re: Teddy plans to end career at WT

Absolute NO from me. Now Russell, someone will put up a poll like they did with Benji returning (maybe was set up by management who knows?) and he will get a greater vote than same sex marriage will get just to prove that history repeats - we forgive our champs. Just like we love our wives so we fo...

Re: Teddy plans to end career at WT

.. Don't forget we had contracts on the table in the vicinity of - Tedesco $1.2M Woods $950K Moses $900K Brooks $800K ............. I can't believe this - Brooks should have been on $300-400k or walk. And I can't believe that bods here were whinging about what my hero was on - our most consistent a...

Re: Annoyed

In that video above of Barba having a slanging match with Willie Mason at the 20 second mark how low of no. 4 for Bulldogs pulling the leg back of No 2 for Knights McManus, the guy can hardly get up afterwards. They should be sent off for deliberate dangerous play when completely unnecessary to stop...

Hey CB,

Corrosive tainted by sin, I'm spilling blood and I can hardly contain it;
Corrosive hallowing the hand, stiffened I eat away, eat into the surface.

Re: Teddy plans to end career at WT

With all the turmoil within the Club over the past few years I don't blame him for jumping ship esp for extra money in a sport where he has already suffered injuries with a possibly limited career. I am used to backing losing teams - Magies for 30 years.

Re: Raiders fan ejected for spitting at NRL referee

Because of more serious diseases these days and because it was being done to cops I think they made it assault so presumably a citizen's arrest could take place.

Re: Could We?

I think they'll be far too strong in the middle for us. I really just hope that they dig in and make the Roosters earn the 2 points. I'm sick of losing to them without them having to get their jumpers dirty. I suppose having them soil their pants in the worse possible manner could be conceived as i...

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

Presumably the cops can demand ID when necessary so I don't think the law is different is it??? If I was a crim on the run I would happily pose as a female burqa wearer to get around - though I would scare the horses, male pervers and any lesbian cops big time. It is different in that I cannot go i...

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

Sixty years ago I would have been in favour of a burqa ban. I was living in semi-rural where people still rode horses and horses would get frightened by such a figure and rear up upending the rider. I would expect that now-a-days little children not used to them could also get frightened by the blac...

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

You dont agree with Pauline Byron? I find that difficult to believe 😆 I had a friend quite older than myself, since deceased, and he was completely mad over her. Joined up, worked his butt off. Their mindset is 1950s and Blue Hills. It is a shame that Sarah was moved from her portfolio - like Robbi...

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

she is covering the wrong part - she should be taping up her stupid mouth It's not very often that we agree, but she is an embarrassment to Australia. I don't agree with her politics but regardless she is so hopeless as an articulator and hasn't improved over the decades, same boat as Arthur (two w...

Re: The Bus is FULL

colmcd - you need to forget it - we have run the JT story to the END. We all know the story, don't need it repeated over and over. Byron Bay Fan and you need to get over RF - same as above. Maybe you could make it the comment on any thread about him instead of this. Let's all stay on the bus - we a...
