Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

The more logical conclusion is to have solar feed the rest of you home and leave the air con on the grid. Same result, removing base load off the grid. It is not feasible to have air conditioning fed off solar without it becoming fiercely more expensive. Also a thing to remember is that old more po...

Re: Round 23 *Spoilers

I hate how Smith was injured last night, completely unnecessary and predictable and it is all about slowing the game down. Only allow one defender at a time so a player's body cannot get twisted and abused. As well as hurrying the game up this will allow champs to look more like champs as will have...

Re: WESTS Tigers Team V St George

So does Liddle come in for Garner on match day? Perhaps. It wouldn't surprise me, not that Garner is playing poorly, but Liddle is finally match fit and it changes the dynamic of our ruck if we're winning the middle. Have to agree with willow, now that Liddle is match fit,he will be the key intercha...

For some here he won't be a real footballer until he grows a mop, gets tattooed and a twisted nose.

Re: Hunt’s wife launches savage attack on his critics

We should not waste a rare opportunity like this - have all the wives putting the boot in and give them their own footy show to thrash it out. Then let Tommy R have them fight it out at the Sydney Opera House or as a curtain raiser to the GF.

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

In the short term something like every aircon unit has to be fuelled by solar power - if there is another heat for aircon necessity there should also be sufficient light for electricity generation. Aircons have greatly driven up electricity prices as they greatly increase the load required in peak ...

Unfortunately the Broncos win may have been the nail in the coffin regardless of the Dragons game
When both teams were running onto the field last night the Broncos looked much bigger and stronger on average and thought that the Bunny smallies would have a hard time controlling them.

As well only allow cars with a powerful engine for tradespeople who need it - for domestic about 1800 or 2000cc limit.

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

Nuclear reactors used massive amounts of water to stay cool. Some famous rivers in Europe are a few degrees warmer with dire consequences. As well it leaves dangerous wastes for millions of years - not a very moral solution either.

Re: Round 23 *Spoilers

Kev Walters was an absolute embarrassment in the commentary tonight, it was like he thought he was sitting on his couch cheering the Broncos home. Pretty pathetic really. Was atrocious. Shouldn’t be commentating. I did not notice at all was it him on Ch 9? I really felt like ringing Ch 9 and tellin...

Never would I have thought in my life time, I would say go the bunnies. Well I just did. Go get e’m Souths. I recent heard Sam Burgess say that Russell would kill him if he signed for Roosters and that Russell had been good to his brothers and family - I got to appreciate him for saying that. If he...

spot on bro, as an ex-maggie fan I intend chasing it up tomorrow. I think I remember Benny missing by a sliver of paint.

Re: Unfortunately Get Behind Souths

Our team could take Benny E with them doing a Laurie Nichols impersonation and brutalising a stuffed horse - make him the drinks carrier so on the field half the time.
