Re: Rank the Players /Positions /Teams

Yeah no that is way too big a task to do in one go. I would suggest that you invite people to rank a category at a time, and rather than split it up into individual rankings 1-16 have them ranked in groupings (1-4, 5-8, 9-12 and 13-16). It gets a bit too arbitrary when having to separate down to ind...

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

Alright, I've had just about enough of the meaningless dribble in this thread. As the title says, it's politics - Discuss politics and discuss it rationally (a hard concept for some on here) or this thread closes. Not sure if this is classed as meaningless dribble , but what has happened in NZ with...

Re: The best and worst defensive centres in the NRL

What I found interesting was that the full list has 9 players, including Jarryd Hayne, on 1.00 average points and the writer chose to highlight Kevin Naiquama in the worst 5. Any chance of bias there? Because he played the most games of all players with an average of 1.00 and so had the most "tries...

I thought we all were agreed first time round that Benji was a 6 , not a 7
He was a 6 then but he's probably a 7 now. His best season in the relatively recent past was in 2015 as halfback for the Dragons when he finished 2nd in the Dally M count.

Re: Brisbane player charged with assault

Why can't the Brisbane player be named for legal reasons, yet SKD and others have had their name mentioned from the time the allegations were made, through to the end of the court process Presumably because a non-publication order has been made whereas no such order was either sought or granted in ...

Re: The Contenders: Hooker

I think that this is an area we need to look to recruit in. McIllwrick offers little in attack, has average DH service, and can even be shaky in defence when fatigued. Liddle has more of an upside, but may not be durable enough to handle the full load at this point. ET will defend the middle of the...

Re: The Contenders: Lock

I know the modern trend is to have props interchangeable with locks, but if Taylor is a consideration for lock, why not Rowdy? He's got the ball skills (gone well at 5/8 for us in the past) and the footwork. Because Taylor is extremely good at defending in the middle and is a better ball player tha...

Re: Breaking News: Jarryd Hayne

They have a funny system in the US ... The cops say he has no case to answer, yet she can still lodge a civil suit and chase money in a situation which can't be proved criminally. It's the same system we have in that regard. Criminal charges need to be proved to the criminal standard of beyond reas...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I could be( and hopefully am) wrong, but if things keep going the way are then in time there could be 5 or 6 clubs that would last through a financial crisis in the game through monopolising the talent, success and all the benefits that come from success. With TPAs continuing in the fashion they ar...

Re: Crichton to roosters

3.9m of 9.4m cap on 3 players. Other 27 on average of 203k. The NRL is ridiculous If the Roosters really had a bunch of No names it would not be ridiculous. They however have JWH, Tuopu, Fergusson (who may be on a cheap contract due to scandals), Jake Friend (who must be getting some coin), Keary w...

Re: Why new Shark Seumanufagai left the Tigers

Is anyone else concerned with front row depth if packer and matelino injure we going to struggle. Off the top of my head I'd say we have probably close to the best front row depth in the entire comp (Panthers have better), so no I'm not concerned. The Roosters should be concerned about their front ...
