Re: Mbye

Speaking of their halves, Foran, what is doing? From marquee man to nothing. No organisation, no flare, no threat. His body is shot, hobbled off at half time like a 60 year old. Great buy for the Dogs just like Sharron. Walks with the same bow-legged swagger as Peter Sterling after 200 games. He lo...

Re: Report: Wests Tigers sign Moses Mbye from Bulldogs, announcement imminent

It’s been obvious for 3 or 4 days. No subtle grins from Ivan or thumbs up from Mbye to the Tigers members need to confirm that. I’m already looking past him and waiting to see who else we pick up. Granville and Kelly hopefully. I know of the Kelly news but where has the Granville stuff come from? K...

Re: Russell Packer

We signed him knowing he was averaging < 10 runs per game for the Dragons. He's there for his defense, his leadership and the quality of his hit ups, not for running up big numbers.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I dunno what to think of MCK, he's not big enough to be a starting back rower. Everytime he ran the ball up, he got smashed and pushed back. That's why he's more suited coming on when the opposition forwards are tired .. back to the bench MCK. Just shows how much we need a large hard hitting, line ...

Re: A Wests Tigers team to be proud of

The attitude in defense has been the big improvement for me. The execution still has some way to go...but our attitude kept us in todays game despite us playing pretty damn bad Frustrating as hell but I guess that comes with expectation, something we havent had a lot of in the past too many years B...

Re: Aaron Woods

I'd prefer to target some of the Panthers or Broncos backrowers. We need some quicker forwards. Woods can still do a good job and for most of the first half the Dogs were on Top in the middle. But he is not priority 1 ,2 or 3. Wonder if CHN regrets not signing with us. He’d be a walk up starter if ...

Re: Don't love the change at fullback

You'd think he show a bit more ticker for someone that is basically on his last chance. That is the thing that makes me mad, how does he have so many supporters here when he doesn't even try, he is lazy, and on form useless Can you name me a worse fullback in the NRL? Sadly no, how the hell he got ...

Re: Don't love the change at fullback

Lawrence's heroics saved him, the kick was, the worst, about 0.0001% option. If it wasn't for Lawrence that would be change of momentum Well the defence didn't expect the kick. Short of the fullback sweeping it up our guys should always have gotten to the ball first because the defenders had to tur...

Re: Report: Wests Tigers sign Moses Mbye from Bulldogs, announcement imminent

I don't understand how they're under so much cap pressure into the future when the Morris twins and Eastwood are off contract at the end of this year. If they shift Mbye as well then they should in theory have plenty of cash. They don't have a deep roster, there are plenty of nuffies there. They mus...

Ethan Lowe didn’t even make the 17 for the Cows this week.
No he didn't but that was a pretty ordinary call. They could've used his work rate out there. He gets through about as much work as Hess in half the minutes.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Taking a closer look at Brian Kelly tonight. Good first half from him. Has been battered a couple of times through hospital passes, but i can see why Ivan signed him. His head is in the game at all times, always pushing up in the right spot either looking for the ball, defending or attempting to sh...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Except that Marsters is killing it at Centre and we have a severe lack of depth in that position so why would you move him? Agree All the talk of shifting Marsters to centre is ludicrous! Because while our depth in second row is sound our talent there is somewhat lacking. Marsters can play second r...

This storm fullback fill in looks good, what happened to the fullback they got off us last year?
He's still in the Storm system. He's only 19.
