Re: Matt Eisenhuth

And speaking of Eisenhuth, what are peoples' opinion of him? I see him as a hard worker who makes lots of effective, low tackles. However, I think he is INeffective when running the ball. Seems to lumber forward in second gear and rarely bends the line or get quick play the balls by landing forward...

Re: Fullback Recruit

Both are outstanding broken field runners but are they better than our own Dylan Smith? I guess they are ahead in their development, having played ISP. Well they're both 2 years older, which is pretty significant at that age. Not many 18/19 year olds you can throw in first grade but plenty of 20/21...

Re: Matt Eisenhuth

Speaking of Matt ..... is he a better lock or front rower?? He offers most when playing long minutes with a high workrate, so lock. But we have ET at lock, so prop it is for him. I still think we should be using ET to spell Liddle at hooker though, so we could get good minutes out of Eisenhuth by u...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Ken Maumalo? He could be our future right winger to replace Noffa. He can still attack and can actually defend. I reckon that If we do sign him our future back 5 could be. 1. Thompson 2. Maumalo 3. Marsters 4. Fonua 5. MWZ (or possibly even Tui but I doubt it) Or we could move Maumalo to the left w...

Re: Fullback Recruit

Nathan Brown is a bit of a pretended, it wouldnt be that hard to get the better of a trade with him. They're pretty thin on outside backs though and I don't imagine Meaney is too many injuries off a wing spot in first grade. It would be Denniss then him ahead of the crappy Mata'utia brothers. They'...

As much as we seem to enjoy Manly's implosion over all this there are umpteen things happening here that comes down to the Work Health & Safety guidelines. Bullying, he has been subject to unwanted harassment in the guise of pranks, the fact that the coach has demoted him is in contravention of THE...

Re: Nofo Must Do His Time

So I'd say in review: #1 Benji commits to the dummy, forces Marsters to come in on Ponga, Nofo burst out for Ross and Ponga picks it. Perhaps Nofo can stay out and let the cover take the centre. So I'd say Benji causes the main problem but Marsters and Nofo manage to take nobody, i.e. you need to b...

Some of our forwards may be glad Lillymans out, good hard player
Yep, he's the experienced leader of an otherwise fairly inexperienced set of middle forwards. Glad he's out.

I’d love to see Gamble in firsts but Cleary has shown he pretty much prefers to swap like for like. I reckon if Godinet was out, MM would come in before Gamble.
He can't, he's not in the named 19 man squad.

Unbelievable from the bunker.... Knock ons are ok if your attempting a kick He was clearly intending to kick so if you're allowed to drop kick in general play (and not only when attempting a field goal) then I don't see the problem with it. I don't know what the rule is about drop kicks in general ...

Brilliant try from Melbourne - awesome kick Addo-Carr.
Isaako is as slow as a wet week. Lost ground on the Storm left hand side during the try.
You're comparing him to Addo-Carr who is probably the fastest player in the game...

His current club is 110 years old today - I bet that surprises some here who thought he would have torpedoed them by now and they would be down the gurgler. https://warren.rabbitohs.net/t/celebrating-110-years-today/1719 Congrats to another working class club who survived without merging.
