Re: Class is class

I don’t know why you guys can’t get it. Does anyone complain when C Smith starts playing five eight, halfback and hooker. No! They mention how classy he is identfying that he needs to put more control into the game. In my honest opinion I thought we were very similar to Melbourne against the Sea Eag...

Re: El Packer

He made probably the most important tackle of the match late in the game that saved our bacon and he got there despite huffing and puffing, having just struggled to get back in the line. He then sat on his haunches for a while whilst we prepared for the handover. Glad someone was watching the game ...

Re: **Live game thread**

The snipers are out for Robbie during the game if he does one dummy half run or stands at five eight for the odd play. However there pretty quiet post the victory against a Top 2 team on the road. Agree with this. No one has beaten the Dragons on their home soil this year and they have only had 5 l...

Re: Class is class

Observations. The play where Robbie put himself in second receiver, Brooks called it beforehand. Benji and Brooks are different players. I agree we need to play to all of there strengths. In the play that was called forward for Chee Kam. Brooks had not thrown a ball like that in his life. He seems t...

Ran some really good lines in the Denver game.
We need to identify why that worked for him and get him to copybook the same style.

Can someone explain the sign language Ivan was using on the bench at the end?

Btw loved seeing him apart of the boys on the bench being able to talk to the players and ugh just loved it!

Re: **Live game thread**

Fox commentators being a bit harsh on Farah. Sure he overplayed his hand on a few occasions but was also responsible for 3 tries. Farah doesn't play - we struggle to win Meninga is so much of a dribbler in Foxsports coverage it's beyond funny. The droob still reckoned Farah was ordinary today, IMO ...

Re: Junior recruitment and local junior development since 2012.

I think we have an image problem it starts with marquee players and goes right through to the juniors. Promising juniors align themselves with the clubs that are more successful. Its all about money and success - something our club is not known for. Until we can change that perception cant see much...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Agree with Farah, if he has it in him, Liddle needs more time if it is at all worth it. After watching the Newtown V Norths game I’d go as far as saying he is not in the same league as the younger Brailey. The sharks are an attractive team at the moment. 2nd last team to win a GF and not yet losing...

Re: Junior recruitment and local junior development since 2012.

OK one club my mistake, Im not David Middleton. I was making a point about our club, and i don't mean it's divided by the two teams. Even within the two teams our fans are geographically divided, therefore the idea of having Juniors wanting to play for a one town club are now void. Our Catchment clu...

Re: ISP Team Announcement: Round 18

I think It will be better next year. Teams generally continually play first graders in reserve grade because they are happy for them to move on. As excited as I was that we had increased our depth this year, possibly having only one player in our top squad that had not debuted at first grade was spr...

Re: Junior recruitment and local junior development since 2012.

I posted about this in another thread, but it’s probsbly more relavent here. Campbelltown is second only to Penrith as the biggest junior nursery in NSW. When you look at the players it’s produced over the years like Izzy, Hayne, Lawrence (yes I include him, because he would have been the best cent...

Re: Junior recruitment and local junior development since 2012.

Twal, Aloiai, Eisenhuth and Moses are from Parramatta, Addo-Carr from Souths and then Sharks and Gamble from Redcliffe. Don't get the point of them being on the list. You miss the point Russell. This is not just about Local Junior Development, it's also about targeting other juniors we see fit to p...
